I’m going to be a new mom next month and thought I would start scrapbooking for the baby. I love this so much and you were so informative in this video! Excited to start now :)

Awesome Ali! Thanks for sharing. I know these videos are time consuming. I always love your spreads and your wisdom that you share as you create them.

Oh Ali I was SOOOOO glad to see this video. I was a bit disappointed after December Daily thinking your daily posting would be over. YAY! Please keep the videos coming! I am currently taking your OLW class and am looking forward to more in 2018. Thank you!

Love your process. Will you continue to use stickers and hearts throughout the album or just for a specific spread? I'm about to start my first Year in Review album using pockets. TFS. Love your work. Happy day from oz

Hi Ali! I love your videos! I am a total newbie to project life/scrapbooking, but really would love to document my vacations in this way. I find it very overwhelming on where to start! Do you have any tips for how to start choosing supplies and what the best way to start would be? Thanks x

Hi Jen! I always recommend that people keep it really simple (in the beginning + even in the future) because too many choices often complicates everything. I would recommend checking out my Storytelling With Project Life® workshop that goes into more detail about getting started and shows different ways you can use this style of memory keeping for a variety of different kinds of stories. You can check it out here: www.aliedwards.com/shop/classes/storytelling-with-december-daily-self-paced

Hello Ali. How does Simon store his Lego and does he keep all his models complete after he has finished them. Thank you

Hi! He stores many of them in plastic drawers by either color or type (like weapons, capes, etc). Some he has kept complete and others he has broken down. We have a couple giant tubs that are all random pieces as well.

How do you determine where week one starts? This year, with Jan 1 begin on a Monday it looks like your weeks are going to be Monday to Sunday. What if Jan 1 is on a Wednesday, then do you just do a ½ week or would you have started week 1 with December 30 (for Monday to Sunday) or December 29 (for Sunday to Saturday)?

Hi! This is one of those things that I honestly do not worry about in the least (there are so many things that creep into memory keeping that keep us from getting any stories told). I just start during the first week of January, whenever that falls. Some years it's been a few days into January and that's totally fine with me - so I guess I essentially start on the first Monday in January. My weeks always go Monday to Sunday because that's how I view a week :).

I am so glad I watched this. I feel dumb, because it took you saying "I print 3x4s on a 4x6." for me to think of doing that in photoshop before I place photo orders. 😄 Thank you for sharing!
