    The jaffa cakes we get here now are so small they are more of a snack than a treat, much prefer your posh version.

    Holy crap, I just finished the video and realized our executive pastry chef used your recipe on our menu!!!! Your jaffa cake is genius!!! She made a variation with a apple pie filling and caramel mousse, but everything about it is basically identical to yours. That is so badass!!!!!

    The front of my t-shirt is soaked now as I drooled like Homer Simpson throughout this video! I was unaware that we've had Jaffa cakes in the UK for so long, I remember scoffing dozens of them as a child in the 70s. Having seen this version it would be almost an insult to ever again eat the Jaffa cake which are still found in the UK stores. Sir, you are a genius.

    I use silicon molds, but I had a fabrication business cut some cheap polyethylene cutting boards with a water jet cutter, such that the silicon mold fits perfectly in the cutout
    This allows you to be able to cap many mold cavities at one time without the soft mold deforming under your icing knife
    I mainly make bulk candies, but this allows me to make thousands at a time without the mess normally associated with using silicon molds

    Haha! Bruno, you're the bomb! I make 10 lbs of almond paste every Christmas for cooking, and to give as gifts. I love your recipes, and your excellent instructions. Cooking with you on RUclips is like having a 4 star chef right by my side. Not only do the recipes turn out exactly like you show, my chef friends and foodie friends are always wowed! I use home made blood orange vanilla bean marmalade, fantastic. Thanks for your wonderful teaching and wonderful channel!

    HELL YEAH MAN! You know what, I am loving your channel right now. I am really amazed at how you managed to do all of those complex parts of the recipe actually talking directly to the camera, while the easier parts, like the chocolate glaze, you did those parts narrated. love your content man. You grew my love for baking. I mean to be able to create cookies, pastries and cakes at the level of perfection you are right now would be a dream come true. I am so thrilled when I watch the content with the your voice in real life. keep on improvig, I kniw you're in that trasitionig stage, BUT GEEP GRINDING IT OUT MY MAN, I know you can do it.

    Finally made this recipe! It’s a heck of a Jaffa Cake!! My chef daughter tasted and said to hire me as her dessert chef.       Marzipan and almond paste are the same thing.. Look for the percentage of almond or use almond meal as the written recipe suggests :) www.brunoskitchen.net
