Sara mentioned family from the USA in the interview after the final result at NGT, of course we saw Angelina as a three year old in LA with her Grandma and Michael, having the Astar family there must have been one of the reasons for moving to LA in 2018 rather than New York. I also learned that my belief that Angelina discovered jazz on her own through RUclips. It's often mentioned in comments that it was her grandmother who introduced her to jazz but I've never heard or seen any mention of that from Angelina. Hopefully we can put that little myth to rest.

So at 1 1/2 she was playing all genres of music on RUclips and decided on jazz because it was different from the others. Excuse me, but if that’s not the sign of a musical prodigy née genius, I don’t know what the hell is. At that age most kids are barely talking much less having the ability to logically differentiate between the genres of music and then decide which one you like the best. Then, on top of everything else, she watches RUclips videos and teaches herself how to sing by listening to the greatest ever like Billie, Ella, Dinah, Nina and even Elvis, all the artists who can be identified without a last name. Angelina, or as I like to call her Young Legend, will definitely be one of those artists some day. She will explode upon the music industry like no one before her ever has. Ladies and gentlemen! I give you…ANGELINA!!!!

In addition to all the other comments, I'm fascinated by how bright Angelina comes across as. I get the impression that she understands everything discussed, but only uses feigned misunderstanding as a delay tactic to give herself time to consider a response, a very intelligent and advanced tactic in interviews. She also seems less concerned about what others in the room think she should say, perhaps this interviewer is more expert at putting guests at ease? The bit about school made me grin again. Seems a recurring undercurrent of rebellion in her, barely controlled. (eg her rewrite of Winehouse's Rehab). Perhaps grama Mery?

Yes I listened to it and a version in Spanish by another artist Mon Laferte. I don’t know whether Yazeni captures the emotion of the song quite as well in Japanese. Perhaps she does, and her technique is pretty good if perhaps a little monotonous at times. One to watch certainly.

If it is in Swedish and Angelina is answering the questions in that language, it is the first time I have become aware that she is fluent in the language. Are you able to help, please?
I’m fairly certainly that it’s conducted in Swedish, and I’ve learned that there’s enough similarity between that and Norwegian to make conversation viable. Still impressive however you look at it.

It was then I remembered this video and looked to find the information there. I agree with you. If Angelina could understand sufficient Swedish to answer questions put to her in that language, it is very, very impressive. This is normal for most Swedes and Norwegians, although certain dialects spoken on both sides of the border can be more difficult to understand for the other nationality.

I agree with you. If Angelina could understand sufficient Swedish to answer questions put to her in that language, it is very, very impressive. Unfortunately, it doesn't confirm that Angelina is fluent in the language.
@@alberttenfoot I can confirm the interviewer speaks Swedish (with a few Norwegian words where required), while Angelina answers in Norwegian. This is normal for most Swedes and Norwegians, although certain dialects spoken on both sides of the border can be more difficult to understand for the other nationality.
