When you whip, keep your loop towards your body and slap flat (i.e. parallel to the throw's axel). If not, expect knots around the bearing. 5.....introductory bind?! Also, learn the Ghost Bind - not too hard and looks mad flashy. Also, perfect binds everytime.
Carlos gonzalez i try to always remember to use my middle finger, so situations like this don’t happen 😂😂 - because middle finger is the CORRECT way 💖👌🏼 - I’m old though, and started yoyoing before anyone corrected me that I was using the wrong finger - to be honest you can use what ever finger feels most comfortable to you - but it will effect some tricks like shockwave or other tricks where the string has to be positioned a certain way

Ethan Balsam hi Ethan, make sure you’re Yoyo is spinning the right way - using your throw hand, it should be spinning toward the direction of that hand ; for example, right hand throw your YoYo should be spinning clockwise, left hand throw your YoYo should be spinning counter clockwise . And like I mention for every bind, the closer the Yoyo is to your throw hand, the more string will be used for your YoYo to bind, making it easier to return to your hand
Normal thickness string 🙏🏼🙏🏼💖💖 if you’re having problems getting your Yoyo to bind you should try: -throwing harder -binding closer to your hand so you have more string to bind with - what ever bind you’re trying, pull your Yoyo higher Let me know if these help! Thank you!
After the slap bind at the begining you throw a front style throw and then it looks like you double roll it. That's a sexy bind. Thanks for making these videos. Very much appreciated! You taught me the Guy Wright bind in another video and that has become my "go to" bind.

@@RecessIntl 1. I use my middle finger yes, 2. I cant even do a normal bind 30% of the time i have a 1 in 5 chance to do a bind correctly, so i suck at it, but i can do barrel roll trick(i can do the but stil, cant do a bind for some reason)
pull up with your throw hand right before it binds so it clears the knot. or don't whip too hard into the yoyo so it doesn't rotates several times and create an axle knot
and if an unresponsive metal one is a bit too much the replay pro grom yoyofactory is a good unresponsive plastic one (gentry stein used it to win a championship in 2015)
I notice your looped around the index finger. Do you recommend this I am an absolute begging to modern yoyo but every thing I've seen tells me to loop on the middle finger, just curious 🪀
Hey hey, I DO NOT recommend anyone else do this 🙏🏼🙏🏼💖💖 thank you for your comment! I’ve been yoyoing for 20 years and unfortunately mostly self taught so no one was correcting me as a kid learning. I would always recommend starting on your middle finger between the first and second knuckle 🙏🏼🙏🏼💖💖

Try less string - that’s always normally the first issue - too much string gives your Yoyo too much room to knot up

to be honest I'm not sure. I use what ever string. Most strings are pretty good, it is what ever your preference is
