I had so much fun playing this game that even after platinuming it I continued playing it for two more playthroughs to get some of the DLC trophies on harder difficulties. And I did that while I had bought both Dead Space and Resident Evil 4's remakes and they were just sitting on my shelf waiting for me to finally stop playing The Callisto Protocol. And I did, after more than 50 hours of play time. I know part of the reason why I liked this game so much is that I also got it for free on PSN but I can't help it but think that I would've still liked it even if I bought it. Maybe not on day one though.

Sorry, I know literally nothing about this game so I apologise if it’s developed by the same team or intended as a love letter to Dead Space and its fans. Either way this game looks awesome. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention. This is one I’m definitely going to have to check out.
its glen scholfield, he was co creator of ds 1,2 back when visceral games were still around. he then left for sledgehammer games where you might also know him from the call of duty games his studio worked on
You Belong Here took me 30 hours. I intentionally tried to do it without doing a Contagion NG+ because it felt more fulfilling. Only do this is you don't respect your time and would rather just have fun. And while I haven't tried in a long tike to see if it's fixed, I have two more achievements remaining. Find the escape pod and destroy all crates in Final Transmission finale.
I think 7 is okay for a review, it has its problems yes but I enjoyed the combat and didn't think it was like Dead Space in the regard, If they were going to do a survival horror and stick with the third person view, this would of been its best bet. It does well for me in regards of playtime, and fixed a lot of bugs which has been updated, honestly I still haven't got through half of my back catalogue and we have Spider-man 2 never mind even starting Bauldr's Gate.
id say 7 is a perfect score for this game. i was super amped becauuse i love dead space but its defiantly its own game. combat is okay, story was meh, but the visuals and atmosphere are one of the best ive seen for a horror game. havent seen anything on the DLC, might have to check that out.
@@chandahaar Honestly I just finished the game, the last boss was a bloody pain but thoroughly enjoyed it, it took me 15 hours which is fine with me for a single player campaign and had a blast (though the weapon swap was a pain 😂(bought the dlc cheap) and just started the Final Transmission now. Probably take another week 😅
I played Callisto protocol on old gen and it was a interesting experience game wasn’t even scary since most the time the enemies wouldn’t have textures just looking smooth and having the visuals quality of 480p 😂

On hardcore mode I ran out of ammo on the final phase so i had to run around looking for things to throw at Ferris. When i ran out of explosive canisters to throw I had to throw a tiny ass box at the boss that would fly away every time I hit him with it. After some tedious searching, I finally killed the fucker
Lol I thought the same thing when I saw him on that level on the lift before the 2 head boss fight when the hordes of enemies attack you. Just grp them and drop them off the side! Then on top of that he could've just hit 2 head with the stun rod whenever he went down instead of wasting bullets
It was far from awful. The game was shory, easy and not scary in the slightest, but the story was decent and the gane pretty fun despite the repitive combat. FAR from awful.
One of the easiest Platinums I have ever played. There was no change in enemy numbers they were slightly tougher, took more swings to down. Not hard at all, on maximum security easy
