Thanks a lot! and thats a good question.. in short, it makes me have to be more creative and keeps me from doing typical fills.. if i do something similar to a typical fill it will be split up between the toms and the kick to give the illusion of more drums being hit.. ;)
Zack B This is awesome!!! Do you recommend any good exercise to play fills with hands and feet? I'm guessing something like linear progression between hands and feet like quarter notes, and triplets? Keep on drumming man!! :)

I can tell English isn't your first language from your syntax, but I can also tell you from an audio engineering standpoint that, in your opinion, you don't think the drums work with this song... That's like saying in your opinion, planes don't fly. The drums work with the song. If they didn't, it wouldn't sound right. I mean to say, they would be off beat, or in the wrong time signature, or SOMETHING that would make them actually physically not go with the song. If a song is in 4/4 at 120 bpm, and you play drums in 4/4 at 120 bpm, the drumming goes with the song. If you drum at 140 bpm in 3/4 time, the drums will NOT go with the song. I hope that makes some sense to you.
Years later: Ewan deleted me as a FB "friend", I don't even know Zack - but these guys together make the most amazing song ever created with the help of YT. Love them and all of you!
