@ no it was just right, we had the wetsuits incase of jellyfish but in hind sight it was not necessary. When we go to the island I took mine off and the water was really nice.
@@NomiHattingh there were two stops, one off the reef they anchored up and we jumped in, then after an hour or so they took us to the island. Seems that this is one of the permanent islands that is here year round, so they always stop here. It was lovely.
Your videoing is excellent Alfred, visibility was great too. I should have practiced before I tried on our trip ! Fab drone footage too over the rainforest, so lush and green. Re the wildlife ….we said the same, few and far between. I really wanted to see a platypus but none to be had . The only crocs were on the boat trip. Glad you enjoyed it though , so did I 🥰
Hi there, the coral colours are amazing and not sure what camera your using but it had a 3D effect going on and was like I was there to some degree. I seen you driving back onto the barge and was thinking don't do it 😢
@@TinpotTravellers I’m just using a DJI Action 4 cam on standard settings, I’m not very good with video work :( We did not want to leave the Daintree either but were working within a time window and the best laid plans changed over night. See next Sunday’s vid.
Absolutely love that part of the world ❤
@@johnsullivan9980 yes it sure is. I think I could live here.
@@johnsullivan9980 me too!
@@johnsullivan9980 I love this place too
Beautiful 💛
@@carolkiddey1429 thanks Carol. Yes it is beautiful and on the day we were snorkelling the water was actually abit churned up due to the weather.
@ wow it was still clear on your video. Was the water cold you had wetsuits on.

I like that they took you out to a sand atoll 👌👏👏
When I went, it was just out to deep water and 'jump in'.

@@chrismutch5990 yes not many wild animals anymore and I’m not a fan of croc feeding boats as it teaches the crocs to approach boats.
@@TinyOnTour-bm7td We did a river cruise at Daintree but no feeding, saw about 6 crocs.
love it. just Subscribed
