Female Ai is a good communicator.
She gets along well with silverback Shabani and plays well with her daughter Annie.
She also gets along well with her mother Nene and brother Kiyomasa.
When the male Shabani and Kiyomasa have a dispute, she takes the initiative to intervene.
She also stops Annie when Annie tries to mess with Nene.
Ai is a very important member of the Shabani group.

Shabani was born in the Appenheul Primate Park, Netherlands.
Nene was born wild in Cameroon.
The other three were born in the Higashiyama Zoo in Japan.

I love Ai especially when she does her little twirls. I was hoping for another baby for her and Shabani but until Kiyo is settled somewhere else and NeNe no really caring about the couple I believe we won’t see a new baby. I think her parental instincts will be much better now
I don't think you will see another baby from ai and shabani. At this point she looks at shabani as more of a father than a mate. I don't think things will ever be the same.
Also nene could get pregnant from kiyo, annie could get pregnant from shabani or kiyo, an a.i most likely gets pregnant from kiyo . And thats just reality of captive gorilla troops.
