call me un-sportsmanlike all you want, but I'd refuse to shake hands after all that cheese of a win. in his defense though, the fiendsmith guy just as well could have burned him in time if he had gone first. konami's time rules just suck and it makes this game very quittable.
No one should shake the hand of an obvious cheater. There is a difference between your deck just happens to have some random burn effect that could come up if the game goes long for whatever reason but then there is pieces of shit like this guy who intentionally slow played as a strategy the entire event to cheese wins.
I feel it's pretty unjustified hate, the guy would've won 2-0 without time rules, I'd blame the time rules. Pretty sure most of yall didn't even watch the match, but yeah, he had to side faster eitherway
@@KevinLopez-fm9kz you run cards that are specific to your deck strategy. He played against a Tier 0 deck so you win by any means necessary. He didn't cheat so if there's an exploit blame the rules. Konami has different areas of the game that need to be fixed. Time constraints is a big reason Jess quit the game along with prizing.
@@DReppin2009 There was an error made by the judges because the time ended during his main phase, which should have been the last phase of the game. However, he proceeded to the end phase to gain 1000 LP with a Runick Fusion
@@aquelarractually judges did correctly that, time rules for elimination matchs says: "During Single-Elimination, if both Duelists’ Life Points are the same at the end of the current Phase (Step 1 above), finish the current turn. If both Duelists’ Life Points are the same at the end of the turn, then play will continue on a turn-by-turn basis, with the Duelist with the most Life Points at the end of a turn being declared the winner of that Game." They continued playing until the end phase when he healed with munin so at the end of the turn the life points were different.

You don't play cards like emergency provisions unless you plan to go into time every single match
