Good job on the axle replacement, really thorough. My youngest son did that to his 06 Grizzly a few years ago. I have a 01 Kodiak that I'm wanting to get running. A few years ago it was ran by someone and it overheated. In short, I couldn't get it to start. I tore into it a little, but was unable to figure out what the problem was. My son's think it could be the compression release and or the stator or CDI. What do you think? Thanks

If it was caused from overheating it could have a blown head gasket or worse internal damage. I would do a leak down test to check for damage first.
