What is mathematics, hmm. I think mathematics is the language we created for the world, we see the world around us and imagine it ,develop it and "axiomize" it to express our ways of thinking about it. I would glad to see other point of views.😄
Interesting point of view. It is similar to my view, though I think that the language in itself is a tool created from the practice of mathematics... It is really hard to define... I wonder if someone has a more clear definition than mine! And how much people see maths as a language!
@@barneyross8083 Indeed, you can check the streams on number theory. They are a little slow to get to the point, so i want to make shorter videos about them. But you can watch them at 2x to get the main ideas... at the beginning of the streams i give an outline of what i'll talk about, so you can jump around until you get to the points you want to make... next week, we will be studying RSA. To be fair, you don't need number theory to use RSA, but it is fun to know where it comes from!
