    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    Hi folks.
Welcome to another of my Sub' Rides episodes. Where you, my lovely subscribers, lend me your own personal bike for a quick video review and lots of lovely photographs.
This time I'm on the beautiful Kawasaki H2SX. Massive thank you to Tim & Deb for the loan, and trusting me with your stunning bike for a few days!
A bit of fun, folks. Not to be taken too seriously. As with all these Sub' Rides videos, it's merely to show someone's pride and joy on my channel, and to furnish the owners with some nice images of it.
    All the best!

I have the H2 SX SE. A great bike. I’ve toured all over Europe on it with no problems. Good fuel consumption and great pannier system. And when you wind it up it really shifts.
Good review as always Rich. 👍

Hi Richy thank you for this video. Good honest commentary. I've had the Sx Se for 2 years now. I've speed toured in Spain, Portugal & Ireland. Short exhaust from Pro-Race. Now I can hear my engine!
I've been riding since 1976 and this bike has rejuvenated my love of bikes. I reckon this is my final bike, I'm 60 now, and I'm now taking Barcelona track days leaning at 46 degrees! Thank you Kawasaki!

@@RichyVida I have a quiet secret ... I am an expat single retired father of 3 in Spain. Advanced police rider of over 20yrs. My youngest is my 16yr old daughter who has just passed her 125cc licence. Until now I have been teaching her how to ride my bike, the kwak supercharged Sx Se ( on private land of course 🤣).
She is super enthusiastic about this and wants to get into racing.
I have full confidence in her & I am happy now to give her full control of this beast!
When out on the road I regularly swap poitions with my pillion, knowing full well that I am in the safe hands of a 6 stone girl.
Richy enjoy life when these little things happen. Just when I thought it was time to put my slippers on, this happens! Wow!!!

Glad you got to ride it Richy.. I have the SX SE. But it looks good in the base model black. Fast standing still. Have been a Blackbird owner, the owners make me laugh a lot as there is absolutely no comparison! This bike corners without having to wear the palms of your gloves out! It’s like comparing a ‘spitfire’ to a Euro fighter! The electronics (Bosch) are something else and the suspension is brilliant for such a bike. It’s modern too not like a Busa look that a Japanese schoolboy pencilled in the 80’s. I also had the ZZR and this bike is more nimble, easier on your wrists for touring, the acceleration doesn’t have the ZZR ‘kick ass’ through as it’s so smooth and builds as it climbs. The ZZR just hits monster mode right through the Rev range.
It’s a bike that I will keep for a while.

That is a bike I would have to ride A LOT. While it looks wonderful from the saddle it hurts my eyes looking at it sat on the side stand. Sounds fantastically understated for the massive poke the bike has. No upsetting the neighbors before the Sunday morning ride. Thanks Tim and Deb for sharing. Thanks Richy for another great vid!
    Peace!

@@MikeTheBike58 Congrats man, I take the liberty to guess that you mean to trade in your ZZR1400 to a H2SX -18 ? I do not understand what "PX" mean, I could just guess within the context you were typing it with.
Man, the -18 H2SX is the "black" one without the color tft screen, quickshifter , 6 axxis IMU, cornering lighhts, Semi-active suspension, heated grips... Without any of that BUT you still get the cruise control and you can add black color matched factory hard panniers, right ?
It is in my opinion the best SPORT touring bike ever built. I just love the riding position, kind of semi aggressive, not as forward leaning as your ZZR1400, but not straight up as your typical adventure bike.
But it has that perfect in between forward leaning position I just love, I could tour on that bike for days without any problems. The riding position on the H2 SX reminds me of the riding position of the BMW S1000R, Ducati Supersport 950 and the Honda VFR 800F. I kinda with more sport touring bikes had that riding position. Sitting dead upright on a sportsbike both feels and looks very wrong.
Ever since I rode the 2018 H2 SX SE green bike 2018 when It was brand new, it has been my dream bike and I have had a hard time stop thinking about it. I am not that fond of green however and the verison of the bike that is silver/chrome with some green in it is still very expensive on the used market.
The black 2018 bike I can get for around 13 000€ so in couple of years I am going to buy it or if I can find the silver/chrome for a good price in two years I might take that one instead to get the cornering lights and the color TFT screen.
I am jealous man, great decision to trade your ZZR 1400 for the H2 SX, you will be more comfortable and almost have the same power if the H2SX is stock. I guess you have seen the videos like "Brocks Performance" of the H2 SX ECU tuning, It wont take that much effort, money and time to get that bike over 200HP on the rearwheel and make it go even smoother while also stronger and faster
Sadly I will keep my catalytic converter but the first thing I will do to the bike is switching out the stock exhaust for a Coffman slip-on, look it up it is called "Coffman's Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX 1000 2018-2023 Shorty Exhaust" and will cost you about 260€ it is just a very small slipon without any muffler in it so it will give your bike a perfect exhaust sound that is much higher than the almost quiet standard exhaust without being obnoxious.
SEARCH FOR H2 SX Coffman's Exhaust on youtube and you will find a video on their channel where you can hear the the bike with that exhaust and the catalytic converter on, it is a huge difference from the bike you were riding in this video right ?
I am looking forward to your video on/about the bike after the 9th of September then ? I hope you understand that a video on the bike is a MUST and your duty as a fellow motorcyclist brother 😘
PS. How come it took you 3 years since this video where you testrode the bike to finally decide to buy it ? I would have traded in the ZZR1400 the next day after I tried the H2SX man haha

I have had 2 Z1000sx’s, a ‘14 and a ‘17, bought a H2SX last June and for me it’s a much better bike. More comfortable, better on the motorway, mental performance, all round it’s a much better bike. The cornering was better on my 17, but it had Dunlop Roadsmart 3’s on it. I am going to change the tyres on the new one very soon because the stock Bridgestones are crap. The main area the Z beats it is price, but with discount I got the H2SX tourer for £13500 brand new, much better value for money than the £11000 I paid for the Z
