I'm straight into the tutorial with this vid but if you want to see a demo performance there's one I recorded a few years ago on the site. That said, I do a shorter rendition of it here, at the end of the vid.
Omg I can’t believe I have just found you and your teachings. I have been playing for years and in such a slump. I have watched you for a little over an hour and the way you teach and relate to others have already changed my way of thinking. You are such an amazing teacher. Ty so much for all of your efforts I wish I could repay you somehow…. Well met my friend enjoying your site so very much.
I've known this song for decades yet didn't realise it was a Bread song. 🙄Love it when people appreciate the talent they have and don't want to exploit people for money from it but want to experience that talent with others. Nice one Rob. Keep it up.
I'll say it once again...BEST guitar instruction channel I know of!!! Thank you so much for posting these lessons and free instruction sheets. Great benefit to so many of us.
The way you create the videos is so unique and amusing that I forget the time and really enjoy learning the songs and technique. Thank you very much for that.👍👍👍
Great Lesson, Rob. I sang this song for years, of course not in the original key, and yes, to much applause-especially holding the last note for The Big Ending. Can’t wait to tackle this on guitar since I am a retired Drummer and now self taught on guitar. Thanks, brother!🥁🎸👍
My misses wants your guts for garters, she wants me to get the hall painted... but I need to get this one down first...! 😂😂😂 great tune and lesson as always Rob.
Great choice of song. I'll look forward to trying this one. Thanks Rob. This was actually number 1 when I was born. Unfortunately, it was the Telly Savalas version 😂
Ultimately, It’s all about the performance. If you enjoy all the in depth theory too then that’s great, but it won’t make your fingers move any faster. It’s a bit like a sport, you can’t learn how to play golf by reading a book; you’ve got to get out there and hit a ball.👍🏻
Dude, as recent subscriber and a silver surfer ta-boot. I wanna say, love your vids, love your style, love your accent but I would like to see you play the whole song throughout & then the tutorial. Big respect and many thanks.
That chord progression is sweet- sounds great. A song I have slways wanted to play is Davy Graham's Anji - also covered by Bert Jansch and Paul Simon. I've tried in thepast but didn't get very far. I'm sure would go much further w😢ith your ' idiot proof' tutorials.
Im not complaining just trying to help you make the best of your site. Always play a short version of your song at the front. It captures the site surfers. I really like your site. Keep it up@@fennahrob6934

What a great guitar player you are and your method of teaching these songs is second to none.
Thanks, 80 years old and still learning. you are the best.
Wow you are a good teacher, I’ve been playing guitar for years and I still struggle so only just found your channel thank you
I chose this as my first dance with my wife on our wedding day. Stunning song. Thank you. I picked it up straight away. Nice one.

Thanks again Rob. Have loved this song since I was a youngster in Jr. High School. Thanks for showing me how to play it.

Thank you! Totally loved the tutorials. Currently the only channel I have my notifications fully turned on!
Much love brother, you are appreciated.
Thank you for your dedication!
Thanks Rob, used to play this when I was a kid, but forgot how to play it as I haven't played in such a long time.
Thanks so much for these tutorials, I really appreciate it.🍻

How did Gatesy come up with such a great song? He must have been up all night!!
Love this song by Bread. I even love it covered by Telly Savalas (Kojak). Great teaching as usual. Thank you 😊
Outstanding tutorial. You take the stuffiness out of the learning process but not the science/art of it.

@@fennahrob6934 Astute observations for sure.

I did a demo for it earlier John. Thing is, if I sing the song again as part of the lesson people turn off. 👍🏻
Well now that I've found you I will be checking out many more of your vids & thanks once again.@@fennahrob6934
Fennah Rob, you are the bomb.
Thanks for this one...........

There’s a vid of me playing it on the site.👍🏻
Really enjoy your site and your a great instructor but please play the entire song once at the start of your videos. I still don’t know your version.
The version is the same as the record. I did say in ‘comments’ that I did a performance demo in an earlier vid. 👍🏻
