Rebel Salute is a great accomplishment. Rebel and team made it happen in an era when lesser minds did not believe it would be successful. They went against bigger productions with bigger budgets and prevailed. Rispek due.
We won't have to worry about next generations when each of us does all we should in our own generation. If the elders live cleanly by example then their offspring are not likely to learn corrupt ways. Jamaican culture is harmed most today by corrupt elders producing and encouraging corruption in younger generations. But there is always a remnant representing the Most High. Will the majority gravitate toward and support clean culture and upright thinking and behaviour though? Will the elders lift up the remnant or beat them down? Most people love the corruption until they experience destruction. Is the truth. Long live righteousness and cleanness in the culture!

This culture is the original South Central culture from the early 80's in America. The youth who were from born Jamaican parent in have influence Jamaica over time. Too much corruption,nastiness and distraction is in Jamaica now for the next generation of reggae artist to flourish. It is waybtoo easy to sing gun and fcuk songs . Most yutes in Jamaica today is not raised in a kind of religious or Rastafari home, so it is difficult for the music to survive in this sort of atmosphere. Back in the days, reggae roots music was the main music n dancehall was a fringe, now the tables are turned and dancehall is the staple to which everyone gravitates towards in Jamaica

speaking of sustaining the reggae culture its a fact the legends are fading out greatly so foundational reggae gets weak to dance hall hype music which is powered by the youngsters who have no regard for authentic culture songs its a change of influence now where the voice of the youths is the strength of decisions even to the negative point and they got sex and gangsta culture as the branding of reggae and it's sad how even the pushers of the music get converted to the green light of killing the foundational reggae

U know I don't follow the crowd I think for my self. First of all respect every one's opinion but action always always speak louder at the end of the day than word's. When this generation c these elders only full of bag a talk they either come do the same thing or ignore the real mission. What is the mission as conscious rasta people. It's not only to hold a microphone and sing but show what have u all done with all that money towards Ur people. Even ilie speak and said those in a better position should help those less fortunate.
