The fact he brought a razor with him to the lake and filmed himself shaving in the mirror is ultimate Aaron. First, nobody else would ever shave perch stripes into their beard, and if for some reason they did, they would definitely do it at home and not on a road in the middle of the bush.

I happened to be catching perch the next day after watching this video and was counting stripes, my findings that size didnt matter to the number of stripes, as I was catching some mirco perch with very clear 7 stripes , i dont think they gain stripes as they grow bigger , just like a tiger doesn't gain more stripes or a cheetah more dots , love the dedication and the content as always , best fishing show out there

Come to Denmark for some world class perch. They are brakish water perch that go feed in ocean when salt levels are low. My record is 1950 grams, around 4 lbs. Every year reports of fish over 2 kg. We have giant lake perch too. You would love it. Brakish ones are best from septemer to feb. During sommer they are hard to find though. Gues they are spread out feeding getting fat then come back in when its time to spawn. Lake ones are common all year round over 1 kilo. Great show as always
