Great scope from pulsar, but the LRF addition on top of the Objective takes away from it's slim profile. Since I've also been using Thermions since they came out, I'd be confused with the new power button location, but I like the ambi focus dial. Thanks for the in depth review and hunting footage.
@@HansETX hey I watch most ur videos....just asking do u think the price will go down over time say in another year as I just don't have a spare $7k or there about to buy one here downunder...thnx😒☺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Great review but right now I’m on a toss up between the pulsar and the halo Xrf. I would like to see a versus between these 2 and how the pulsar compares the the n-vision
Where would you recommend going hog hunting (looking for a guided adventure)? I will get one of these if I can find a place to use it for hogs. Thanks!
Hi Hans I think you will find that the Thermion 2 is still 25mill of kelvin The main difference LRF aside is the internal battery this is now a bigger the new one is now 4.9 where the old one was 3.2 and also they have gone back to a white menu and some tweeks in the menu Hope this helps
Great video with everything we need to know. Do you know if there is a high end Thermal Scope, at least as good as this one, which will adjust the Zero every time you Laser Range a new target, other than a separate Sig BDX system. Thank you
Hey guys, great review as always. Just wondering if you think Pulsar will bring out a Thermion that would work like my ATN X-sight, with the range finder. So when you range the object, the scope changes the point of impact on the reticle to suit your ballistics. Now that would be cool, and I'm hoping that they can and do, as I will be looking at purchasing one in approximately 12 months. Thanks again.......Damon from Australia.
If i want to go ratting at 30-200 yards with a low caliber pcp air rifle and get clear image with a build in rangefinder is there any cheaper alternative
@@HansETX dang. The 12 microns are starting to become more common and there definitely looks like there is a distinguishable difference between the 17 and 12 when zoomed into a target. Think pulsar will pull a "sig" and release a 12micron soon for the pro? The iray Rico mk 1 lrf and agm varmint lrf look like they are noticably better... The iray is insane on heat discrimination.
Idk, kind of think it would be unnecessary for thermal hunting at night… maybe for long range shooting but that’s not realistic for a digital thermal scope
Thank ya'll for watching! We have a ton of reviews coming up... Next up is the Hogster Vide, iRay Micros, and iRay Alpha!
Great scope! I'm going to look you guys up when I'm ready to upgrade ☺️
Good review. Very informative.

Thank you for the review. So, out of all the thermal Scopes available, what would be your 1st and 2nd top choices for coyote hunting?
Is the rangefinder laser visible on the IR spectrum?
Do you have any videos or comments between the Thermion 2 xp50 pro and Thermion 2 xp50?
Just got this scope today. It really hurt the wallet but I really look forward to using this thing. My first ever thermal.
Thanks for watching Samuel!
Hey. Have you had a chance to use it yet- what are your thoughts? I’m considering one. Thx
@@jeremyferguson6859 so far I’ve used it just to play around, it’s definitely sweet. Easy to use. Great quality.
Is there any offset on the mount?

Thank you for watching. The pulsar is great but the nvision is going to have better picture image, probably around 10% better…

Thank you for watching! There isn't a high end optic that does that function right now unfortunately...

Thanks for watching Damon! That’s a good question… There’s no indication from them that something like that is in the works
@@HansETXhey according to pulsars website it does have a built in ballistic calculator that show a correct aiming point.
I'm guessing Hikmicro is the last scope anyone should buy.right?
Would you say their is much difference in image quality between the thermion 2 xp50pro and the trail 2 xp50?
Yes. I have them both and there is a bit of difference.

Absolutely! There are several good scope that start in the $2500 and go up from there
When it ranges does it adjust your reticle to the correct zero like the ATN?
It does not, thanks for watching
If you were to choose ONE scope to buy right now, what would it be?

Excellent review, but what about the NUC?
it has an automatic, semi auto, and manual NUC option
Can you provide the link to the scope mount you suggested?

Best thermal on the market in my opinion
Thanks for watching!
Hi, can we charge your Pulsar trail with Power Bank while it is running?
Yes, you can
Does this have multiple profiles for multiple weapons?
Yes sir, it does Todd! Thanks for watching...
How easy is this item to swap between multiple rifles that are multiple calibers?
It’s pretty easy to switch back and forth to the different rifle profiles 👍🏻
Can it be used as normal scope during the day?
you can use thermal during the day but it will be a similar thermal image that you see at night
LOVE YOU FROM AFRICA
Thank you!

12 micron or 17?
17 👍🏻

Lrf is super useful because the screen kills depth perception
