Ohmygoodness. God bless you. My dog is a diabetic and is on Novolin-N. The pens look the same as your's and I'm hoping this will work with her pens. Thanks so much.
i did it on the Novo Flexpen as well. My refill bottle was cracked so had to use this method with the syringe otherwise could have just replaced the refill bottle as well.
Are all the flex pens the same? I was wanting to use one of my Tresiba flexpens (which i really like how they work/feel) to fill with Humalog R that you can only get in a vial, just to make on the go easier. Can anyone confirm most flex pens work in the same mannor or are refillable this way?
Argh. Do you happen to know if they've changed the pen plastic or something? I've tried opening 3 now, with pliers, and all it does is dent and warp the plastic but it will NOT separate. Unless maybe you're Superman (a possibility), I'm not sure they can be opened anymore. 😓
Tried all I could to get it to work, but I couldn't get the "rewind" on the blue part to work :/ It never seemed to "latch" back on correctly with the insulin-filled part.
You probably don't need this info anymore but for you or anyone else: The box of 5 pens are currently about $43 for 15mL, whereas the vials are $25 for 10mL. So to get say 30mL, the pens would be $86 and the vials would be $75. So the vials are a bit cheaper and we do save money reusing the pens by refilling them from the vial. Of course the pen needles I think cost more than regular syringes, so we still end up paying slightly more, but the convenience of the pen is worth it. (For me anyway, I used to be carrying around multiple pre-filled syringes with varying amounts in them because I didn't know what I'd be eating that day, and it was just... bad.)
if your doctor refuses to let you use a analog insulin, you need to find a new doc. The newer insulins are safer and if you have insurance, they are more affordable when your deductible is paid.

How your dog is diabetic, they have no insulin anyway
this is amazing thank you, used this method for me Peptides
Thank you so much , this is extremely helpful.
Thank you! Very helpful!

Thank you. Has the accuracy per unit seemingly been altered after the refilling process? Otherwise this video was convenient when having a dead pump
I'm definitely going to do this by refilling with a vial. Saves $$$
This was great! I get my novalin pens practically free with bcbs. I did want to know how i could fill them again with water. Thanks!!
Informative...thanks
Thank you! I’m going to attempt this in the morning.
That was really interesting. I just looked it up to see if it was possible. Thanks!
رائع ، مجهود جميل . تستحق كل التقدير ❤

Excellent! I learned from you.
Are there any concerns about insulin that might be left in the pen thats old mixing with now?
Thank you brother... life saver... screw big pharma!

Having the same issue sadly 😢
ভিডিওটা খুবই উপকারী ধন্যবাদ❤
do you know how to reuse a lantus solostar insulin pen? I've tried but can't get the pen meter to rewind. ty
What other states do you not need a prescription to get one of these pens?

Does this method work exactly the same for Novolog Flexpens? I wanna refill the pen from the vial.
Yes it does. I just tried it with one of my empty pens.
Can you do this with a saxenda pen also?
Where do I find blank cartridges to order?
Is there a good source of cartridge 100 3 for Novo 4 pen 🤔
zero thumbs down !
I’m about to refill this with serious grade numbing for camping emergency incase I have to keep moving no matter what
im lost, my novolin r i got yesterday already has pre filled insulin
This is for after you have used it up, you could theoretically used the cheaper vials to refill it
