There's literally nothing in the game besides the ranked avatar upgrades and your temporary season border that are exclusively performance-based and it's so maddening.

Thing about giving free cosmetics with levels is, people will just afk grind them with xp farms. Makes people question the value of the cosmetic itself and if they should even bother getting it or not.

so i was thinking about stats, stats are permanently buffs or nerfs to legends, so what if lvl rewards be... so i was thinking about stats, stats are permanently buffs or nerfs to legends, and stats effects "can't" be changed in balance patch's, but attacks can, like variable stun. for every legend there is 22 stats points, you can only reallocate 1 point, with the default stances that sometimes, to add to your preferred stat, remove from another preferred stat, or a stat you can't remove, because you only have a low amount... so starting, there are 2 types of LVL: the account one (AccLVL), and the legend one(LegLVL). so: {1 accLVL} = {X1.01 "overall stat multiplier"} ; {10 accLVLs}={1.1X "overall stat multiplier"} ; {100 accLVLs}={X2.0 "overall stat multiplier"}... at accLVL 0 & legLVL 8 you will only be able change 1 point according/using the default stances... once you acquire legLVL10, you will unlock custom stances, you will also unlock custom stances if you're at legLVL5, but only if you have accLVL100 because of the 2x stat multiplier, but in both this scenarios, you will only be able to reallocate from whatever stat to another only 1 point since you "overall stat value is 10"... each 10legLVLs if accLVL=0, or every 5legLVLs if accLVL=100 you will be able to reallocate another stat point... you will receive 1 extra "overall legend stat value" when you legend reach LEGEND lvl 100, allowing to reallocate 11 stat points... so if you're accLVL=100 and be playing an lvl45 legend you will be able to reallocate 7 stat points(because of the acclvl100 X2.0 multiplier) and at acclvl100 and legend lvl 100 you will be free to reallocate the 22 stat point's the way you want, so you cud remove every stat and play with 0 everything or add the 22 point's the way you want, but only a max of 10 for each type and if for example i go 10 speed and 10 dex, i will need to play with only 1 strength and 1 defense since i i can only add or remove 22... this may look brocken for making some signature true combos, but the solution is here: you legend signatures startup frames, and recovery frames are based on you lvl 8 defalt stances, so if you add more dex than the actually default maximum, your signatures will have more startup frames so if you put 9 dex teros your hammer dlight nsig will still have 1 dodge window but you will get the light attack combos that cassidy have on 9 dex... the same goes for if you remove all cassidy dex you will still having her dlight side sig on blasters true since the startup frames of the ssig, will be reduced to match the dex reduction/ lightatack startup increase by decreasing dex
