Sailing Finland’s Archipelago Sea With Visits to Helsingholmen and Högsåra | Ep. 152

We head south from Turku, Finland and visit some very special islands as we make our way to Hanko, Finland. Helsingholmen and Högsåra are both special destinations and worth the time to stop and enjoy both, even though they are quite close to one another.
Helsingholmen has beautiful hiking paths that circumnavigate the island and there is a very quaint but nice sauna. Högsåra has a wonderful farm-to-table restaurant called Farmor’s Café and we have to thank our Finnish friends Heli and Kalle for the recommendation. We end the episode in Hanko Harbor where we will leave the boat for 4 days while we travel by train to Helsinki, Finland’s capital.
This video completes the series that covers our summer 2022 sailing season. We leave our boat in Kalmar Sweden for the winter and our next video will begin our Summer 2023 sailing adventures. @Cptnbond, I agree! But I must say one of the best things about Life 4.0 is that Tom and Karen are not as shouty, undressed (OK, there were a few sauna scenes!) and fake emergencies that characterise many of the more popular channels. Quality over quantity! I'll look forward to your next season.
