- For stop 5 of our road trip, Randy and I found ourselves in Kansas City, Kansas at 1889 Pizza Napoletana to take on Kansas City's Own Neapolitan Pizza Challenge! I had just one hour to finish 6 of 1889's specialty wood-fired pizzas in order to win my $89.89 meal for free, a groovy APRON, and a spot up on their Wall of Fame!

I enjoy watching Katina and Randy’s food challenges on youtube they seem to travel all over the place to do food challenges. My favourite food is vegetable curry and nan bread 🍞
Awesome job! The way you complete the challenge, doing it so quickly and eloquently makes this such a joy to watch - especially when compared to some others I have seen where it looks like the eater is trying to stuff themselves like a turkey and making a gigantic mess. Its great the way you keep it so clean and still manage to finish so quickly!

I was concerned about ‘green eggs’. In the U.K. it means temazepan, a sleeping pill. I’ve heard of green tomatoes
@@danvincent2600, temazepam is an anxiolytic. I suppose it helps if your anxiety is keeping you awake.
My neighbor used to live in Turin Italy. This style of pizza I could snack on all day!! What's so surprising, is that there is SO MUCH flavor on them.

Welcome to KC, the last time I saw Randy was around 2004, he was all muscles and young at the Sushi place in Lenexa, KS which he ate more than 8 rolls of sushi and that restaurant has been closed for awhile now.

I LOVE wood fire pizzas. There are two pizzerias near me that specialize in wood fire pizzas. One has a relatively thin crust similar to a tortilla made from an artisan sour dough and the other is a relatively more traditional crust. Both have unique and flavorful pizzas. Neither have food challenges though. One is called Crushed Tomato and the other Bob’s Brick Oven . They’re in north west Georgia .
This sounds amazing. Sour dough crust sounds awesome.
