I love your comment about mixing on the paper. I always love my mixing palette mess and just never thought of transferring that joy directly to the paper. But now that I’ve done it once, I am hooked. 🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️ Also, I’m totally hooked on your RUclips channel. I will be picking up your book in Kindle format as soon as I finish seeing how this gouache painting turns out.
I received a set of Meeden Acrylics for Mothers Day and absolutely love using them. Colours are vibrant and a little paint goes a long wait. Thanks for this review and your content is most informative and inspiring.

I’m still pouting like a baby because you got to meet Maru Godas! 😂❤ You talked me into it😂 I am missing my gouache as I left it at home, and will be up here on dad’s farm till the driveway is fixed because it’s too washed out for dad to drive it. I really like Meeden products and have a few of their palettes and pastel drawers and they are fabulous quality and much cheaper than other versions. The first watercolour set I had was the Meeden 48 half pan set and for $23 AUD you can’t go wrong with it IMO I’ve bought so many sets for my friends too!
I’m trying to convince Maru to come do a workshop in Husky! You’ll be first to know of it happens! That’s great you’re already using Meeden. I was really surprised at the quality vs price ❤️😊
There are very few reviews on this product, so thank you for posting this. I picked up the Meeden gouache as my beginner set, but haven't cracked it open yet. Now I know a bit more about what to expect. This set performed well in lightfastness testing over on Sarah Burns' channel recently, if you're concerned about such things.

thank for sharing. next time I purchase gouache, I will check out the Meeden brand. I do have their acrylic paints. They work pretty well for me.

I haven't used gouache in ages. Gonna break it back out. And I Love the idea of this pad being glued on all four sides. Did you find it buckled?

You are welcome! It’s a one inch flat brush, a cheapie. Look up golden Taklon sets and you’ll find them. :)
