Absolutely love it!👍❤ You gave very clear instructions EXCEPT you didn't show how to sew the flap and straps onto it. Did you attach by weaving the flap to the backpack using a long tail of T-shirt yarn? I'd love to make this but I'm really confused about the sewing part of it. It IS a beautiful pack though! ❤️ And... if I can't figure out the sewing, I'll find a workaround via modifications. Thanks for this awesome tutorial. 👍🙏😊 Edit: although I wasn't sure how to sew this backpack, you showed how to sew parts together in your beautiful purse tutorial so I'm no longer confused. Thanks so much! 👍😊
Hey, thank you so much 😊❤️ especially in my earlier videos I struggled a lot to find a good balance between showing everything that is needed but not blowing up the video to much so I hope you will see my learning process in my current videos where (I think) I'm much more detailed about everything 😊 now in this case you already found your answer but if you have a question for another video, just leave a comment and in many cases, I will be able to guide you to another video where I picked up the topic and showed it more detailed 😊
Yes lovely backpack and explained well. Thank you for sharing. I think it’s a mini backpack? Maybe 1 FT tall? But i might attempt a larger one by buying a larger leather base. I did wonder how those backpacks are made, now i know :)
Thank you for your feedback! ❤️ Yes, it is a mini backpack - its about 9,5 inch tall and the bottom is about 8,5 x 4 inch. The size is super easy to adjust though because its worked in SC so you don't need to be aware of a certain stitch count. One hint for a bigger backpack: It will then be able to carry more stuff (means more weight on the straps) so I would suggest to make the straps a little longer and use the first few rows to sew them on.
I'm a beginner and doing this right now! I just realized, are you working in a spiral for the body of the bag? You don't end the round with a slip stitch? Because I did about 10 rows and am noticing a visible seam. I don't mind undoing them so that there isn't a visible seam.
Hey there, sorry for my late response - Yes, I just work in spirals here 😊 In my opinion this gives the "cleaner" look for the bag body (like you say, you notice a visible seam) but it has the disadvantage that you will have a height difference for the very last stitch as well. So you should start in an area of the bottom where you can "hide" your last stitch in the end (e.g. in the area where you sew the flap on in the end so that the flap will cover the stitch).
Ciao Manuela, sono felice che lo zaino ti piaccia ❤️ La base è lunga circa 25 cm e larga 12 cm. 😊 (Hello Manuela, I'm glad you like the backpack! The bottom is approx. 25 cm long and 12 cm wide.)
Hey, I dont know where you are from but you can e.g. check this shop for Tshirt yarn: www.biskvit-germany.de/biskvit-textilgarn 😊 furthermore, there are good options on Etsy. If there is indeed no chance to get TShirt yarn, you could try a polyester macrame yarn (I would guess like 3mm thick) 🤔
Mindig próbálok javítani, ezért köszönöm a tippet. A következő videóimban megpróbálom jobban megmutatni a dolgokat :) (I always try to improve so thank you for the hint. I will try to show things better in my next videos. :))
haha I came across the word skein but I dont know if this is correct and how to pronounce it 😅🙈 so as long as people understand what I mean with "ball", I think I will stick to this 😂
(Hello, I think my name is causing confusion here? I have a French name but I don't actually speak a word of French. Otherwise I would of course make french videos as well 😊 Where my videos are played is also beyond my control.)
Sad to say that in my country such a bag was sold 2 to 3 bucks each so it's just not worthy to make it. It is said that there is a machine that can do single crochet so they can sell it in that price
Very poor tutorial. You do not demonstrate from 11.00 to 14.59 very well how to make make the flap over the backpack. I will have to find another tutorial. Overall the this tutorial insteuctions not clear enough.
I thought it was fairly easy to follow, though that part in particular I would call complex. You just have to slow the video and / or zoom in if you need to, and watch what she’s doing :)
This backpack is beautiful! ❤
Thank you 😊❤️
Very nice work. I am following this to make one right now. Thank you!
Thank you - happy to hear that you like it 😃 let me know how it turned out!
Very interesting ~ learned a new fancy stitch which you put on the flap!!👍🏾

How many rows did you make for the bag?
I am having some problems joining and starting a new line
Where can I share picture
Skeins i believe is the right word, but in uk we call them balls of wool or cord
Ohh thats a great information, then I can stick to balls of wool and just say I speak British English 😃 I can't pronounce skein for the live of me 😄
I don't like T-shirt yarn, is often already twisted 😢
You are great indeed ❤
Thank you😃❤️ and I totally agree! working with tshirt yarn often looks quick and easy but its actually kind of difficult to make it look even😣
I used milk cotton 8 ply yarn n my bag turned awesome
What size, type & mm yarn is this?
How long of a chain 120cm??
hello , bew subscriber here 😊. Can I ask what kind of yarn did you use? thank you
Hey, welcome to my channel 🙋🏻♀️ the yarn is tshirt yarn, 5-7mm thick, from the brand Bobilon 😊
How many grams of fabric/cloth yarn used?

Ciao Catherine, bellissimo lavoro complimenti. Posso sapere la base quanto misura? Grazie 😍

@@catherinecrochet Thank you dear
Its hard to get tshirr yarn where im from, is there another yarn you can substitute for?

How did you punch the holes in the bottom? Still new to crocheting.
Hey, the holes are already in the bottom :) you dont have to punch them in.
@@catherinecrochet Thanks so much.
You buy the base that already has holes
What's the size of the leather base ?
Can i ask the size of the leather bottom and the weight of the yarn. Can't open the link huhu
Egyébként szép a táska.
Köszönöm! :) (Thank you!)
Nice .I am in Lebanon from where we can bye these items
Thank you! 😊 I order the items for my bags on Amazon or Etsy. Everything you need is linked in the Video description.
The links will not open for me because they are not here in America
So this bag has only one strap , right?
Hey, you just repeat the shown strap pattern to make the second one :)
@@catherinecrochet thank you so much
Nice bag
What yarn you are using please
Hey, im using tshirt yarn here :)
❤ love this
Thank you ❤️
Fio de malha?
How do u stitch na Cover of the bag?
Jó lett volna ha megmutatod a sarkoknál hogyan kell horgolni. Nem csak angol nyelvű nézőid vannak. A lényeget nem mutattad meg.

Shall I use polyester yarn for this bag?
Hey, the backpack is made of T-Shirt Yarn :)
I say ball still also! 😊 hahah because I can never remember the right word. Skewer or something 😅😂
haha I came across the word skein but I dont know if this is correct and how to pronounce it 😅🙈 so as long as people understand what I mean with "ball", I think I will stick to this 😂
