Lol if you knew those Yu-Gi-Oh cards where from the starter deck then you're a Yu-Gi-Oh guy! Jk......... Maybe lol. Thanks for bringing us along it was fun as always see you next time my boy! And as always much love and respect from down here in southern California!.
For future reference dude, ALWAYS check purses you find. Handbags often contain forgotten money. Literally. A friend found 18k jewelry in one once, so always worth checking. I saw you toss one without looking...argggh! And an old amp...some of those go for $$$, dude, some times even when they don't work.
I can vouch for that. I found a dumpster with probably 15+ old purses someone threw out and I found like $9 or so and other odds and ends in them! Some of the change was under the inner lining too.
Maybe he grabbed it off camera so there was no debates in the comment section about him taking someone stuff in a purse (even if it was in a dumpster) and no I don't care if he did lol
@@WilhelmFreidrich until the skip is taken away its the property of the person who hired the skip. Now if said person given you permission to have anythink you want Mr scrap man then there is no need to report. If it was a robbery the purse would be empty.
Ive seen you pass up the Coaxial many times without checking it, you know some quality coax has a copper center and most even steel ones have a 2 copper overbraid. pays to check.
Hey @thubprint this is a long shot, but if you were to go back and grab that amp at 18:40 I would be willing to work out some shipping costs with you! I collect vintage guitar gear and would love to save it from the landfill!
Holy ceramic processor Batman! Those are the ones to look for. They have the highest gold content by weight and it's closer to 24k gold instead of a plating.
Great video as always! Thub, you have inspired me to take scrapping to the next level. I recently retired and my wife was growing weary of me slowly becoming part of the couch. Soooo, a used Chevy S-10 (4 Cyl / Auto) was purchased for a song & I was able to build some side racks for cheap. Got a nifty extension pole to probe & grab treasures from dumpsters as well as some common tools for scrapping. We live in East Texas where new building and remodels are never ending, so it should be lots of fun. Keep up the great work & keep on scrappin'
Usually agree with what you keep & what you toss.... But you should've kept the Kent Amplifier. One just sold on Ebay, As-is, with no guarantee of it working, for $175. Antique music electronics can go for big money to collectors... Love your videos!!
I found your channel tonight. I am looking to make a little extra money so I am thinking about clipping wires to start. I am going to watch your older videos.
I’ve score a new job where they are changing 350 fluorescent trough lights. The good ones with the aluminum fins(and heavy 40 pounds each!. I can fit 44 on my trailer and truck. Each load brings 200$!
@20:43 That is most definitely a cheese slicer. I had one just like it. It's also good scrapping, since they are made of die-cast or even straight up aluminum, except for the screw, the wire, and sometimes a plastic roller.
I can't find many bikes as nice as the Schwinn I look for ones with disc brakes but they just are not around. I guess I'm just nostalgic for bicycles because I was a bike builder when I was a kid.
Question: Instead of throwing the recyclable to the ground, why not back the truck up and throw the stuff into the truck? In short, why handle it twice?
Great video! That old amp you left behind probably had a nice transformer in it. Also, old speakers can have a big chunk of copper in them unlike new ones. Looking forward to the next adventure.
I got sound! Thanks for the video i do a little bit of scraping myself i mainly go after copper and aluminum my son and son in law are both HVAC journeymen so they bring me all kinds of goodies not making a living off of it but it keeps an old man busy through the day.
You REALLY should have kept that guitar amp, vintage amps (even ones that need repair) can fetch very good prices, for example Dumble amps (very rare) sell for up to $150,000. That Kent amp even if it's broken would probably still be worth selling for spares or repair, you might $50 - $100 for it as is.
I’ve been thinking about it ever since, and I’m probably going to go back for it lol. I googled them and a lot of them are tubes, so might as well have a closer look!
I’ve looked into them before yes, keep in mind I’m in Canada so that changes things. It was a while back but I think with boardsort in particular they just didn’t reply to me
Careful Mann just jumping into dumpsters like that might brush into the wrong piece of clothing and catch yourself some bedbugs or other little critters
I dont understand why you dont ever take a good deal of the construction materials out and put in a pile so they are out if the way. The first dumpster you stopped at probably had a great deal down just a little further. You can always put it back in
Did you get the anything in computers if you don't have gold on it that's all that crap repair you should get everything out of the computer and the board on those computers I didn't see those because they have gold on them too and if they don't have do they call them copper Barrett
wood! free wood for the stove

As scrapper my self remember everything goes wire purses everything we will sort out later ya heard
You should send that metal veloce raptor to scrap and pallet man. He'd probably like it

The old amps contain thick gold plate and lots off it worth going back
It's not worth it because once you report it to the police, they aren't likely to give it back to you.

Just started watching Canadian Treasure Hunter. Be safe out there.
I enjoyed your Pewter video. New subscriber 🇺🇸
Im happy the algorithm was quick to show me the video it has been a while my Old friend ❤
Ive seen you pass up the Coaxial many times without checking it, you know some quality coax has a copper center and most even steel ones have a 2 copper overbraid. pays to check.
The older ballast have between 3 and 8lbs of copper in them. I had 146 older 10.8 lb ballast and got 634lbs of #2 copper from them
I have sound on this video. But I did have another one of thub's videos without sound. Keep doing the thing!
Hey @thubprint this is a long shot, but if you were to go back and grab that amp at 18:40 I would be willing to work out some shipping costs with you! I collect vintage guitar gear and would love to save it from the landfill!
I second that!
Here here
Awe Dude! ...you left the amp? ...that's worth a small fortune!
Great Job Again Sir 👏🏼✅🙏🏼. The Ice/Snow Scrapper 🤔😁🛻🗑️
Holy ceramic processor Batman! Those are the ones to look for. They have the highest gold content by weight and it's closer to 24k gold instead of a plating.

I just pulled about 1500lbs of 3/0 and 4/0 copper wire from old conduit in a remodel job for free. They were going to concrete over it.
I wouldn't be able to do the scrap thing, I would want to take everything home with me and keep it
Sound now! 😁👍
Go get that scrap and turn it into free cash mate
My favourite channel where he scares me with walking on top of a bin a construction material. Always happy to see you, Thub.
That last open top was full of goodies, you could almost fill-the-truck again! 👍
God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇨🇦
Those lights were a good find.
Amusing indeed, but always check the 👜

Keep digging little deeper find a treasure 👍👍👍👍
That old brick Nokia maybe worth money. Worth looking into
Nice haul... and some good stuff to boot. Fun Video keep them coming.
Great video
You doing this gives me hope. Which is something I’m lacking lately. Thank you.
Great job
I really love ur videos
I'm very inspired from
Ty for sharing

Funny yugi oh oh 😅 🤣 😆
The Schwinn is a keeper. I always grab bicycles, they are worth fixing most of the time.(people throw them away for flat tires here in South Florida.)
Absolutely nailed it on that second dumpster
neat items! love the tiny stuffed animals, they're too cute to resist
Great video thanks Thub. ❤️💙
That was a rewarding dumpster. Some good computer parts, especially the ceramic processor. 👍
All it takes is one good open top to fill up the truck! Nice vid today!
@20:43 That is most definitely a cheese slicer. I had one just like it. It's also good scrapping, since they are made of die-cast or even straight up aluminum, except for the screw, the wire, and sometimes a plastic roller.
You need yourself a good light. But I will still watch.
Thumb kodak disc camera, used to store the negatives on a disc, but it only stored about ten snaps at a time.
I'm in Florida & we only get &0.5.5 cent a lb for tin & iron. I brought in 900 lbs of it & got &55.00 wasn't much! Bill
18:38 surprised you didn't clip that amp wire, if it was a power cord?
OUCH!! That would've been more painful to watch than him leaving the amp there!
Happy you nabbed the video game manual--someone somewhere is missing that! And it's cheap to ship! Awesome epi--always a thumbs up from me.
I can't find many bikes as nice as the Schwinn I look for ones with disc brakes but they just are not around. I guess I'm just nostalgic for bicycles because I was a bike builder when I was a kid.
New subscriber. Loved video. Thank you. Evelyn from Texas.
Question: Instead of throwing the recyclable to the ground, why not back the truck up and throw the stuff into the truck? In short, why handle it twice?
I don't like having to climb into the open top twice
My local yard will not take ballasts any more as they are considered 'notifiable waste'. Irritation when I have a pile of them.
You ever think about getting a trailer? You would be able to get twice the treasures! 😊
Nice haul man. Good job on not being scared to separate the tire from the wheel. That’s too much easy money to let stay there!
I try to grab enough copper to fill a five gallon bucket a day. That's $150.00 per bucket!! $750.00 per week and I keep my weekends free.
Where do you find that much copper?
Some good finds...Thank you for taking us along. 👍
Great job and video! Solar ligts are stainless steel 18/8 - a would have taken those at least the small pole.
Just a heads up, you should always level off a dumpster when you are done. They can give people a hard time if it's not.
Great video! That old amp you left behind probably had a nice transformer in it. Also, old speakers can have a big chunk of copper in them unlike new ones. Looking forward to the next adventure.
I got audio
Great video man . Thanks for the content!
I think you made some good scores today. Be careful on top of those bins. Hi from a rainy St John's, NL.
Yo thub print what provence do you live I want to know what scrap price on your side of town
Calgary,Alberta.
I got sound! Thanks for the video i do a little bit of scraping myself i mainly go after copper and aluminum my son and son in law are both HVAC journeymen so they bring me all kinds of goodies not making a living off of it but it keeps an old man busy through the day.
Coax generally goes as light iron

Gas lines from that first dumpster are probably stainless steel
Great finds.❤️
can resell some of those ballasts ya know...
Wow that was an impressive haul!
Why do you spend time separating at dumpsters instead of using that time to hit more dumpsters? Just wondering.
He can fit more into the bed of his truck that way... and it's way easier to deal with later... when his back is sore.
I believe those wheels fit a Nissan Xterra and tundra pick-up.
Amazing how little tread they had left on them.
are those bicycles usable
I believe all those solar lights have gold in them. Led lights??
💜💜💜💜
Ceramic CPU..Rare find.
Bro you gotta check our Super Monkey Ball 2. My brother and I spent HOURS on that game.
Woody wasn't saved! 23.20 to 23.40 ! Nooooooo! My heart is broken 💔 😢
Awesome video Thub. Stay safe, stay warm and keep the videos coming.
Did you ever look into board sort you can mail mother boards, memory, and other ewaste through the mail and there send you a check
I’ve looked into them before yes, keep in mind I’m in Canada so that changes things. It was a while back but I think with boardsort in particular they just didn’t reply to me
👊 👍👍👍👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉
were the ballasts in those lights worth seperating?
thub ever thought a bout doing pallets?
Why didn't you take the transformer out of the amp? Motors? Pumps?
Careful Mann just jumping into dumpsters like that might brush into the wrong piece of clothing and catch yourself some bedbugs or other little critters
No idea why but this didn't show up last night on my feed or when I was checking your YT page.
I did end up posting this one pretty late, this week was a scramble
That very old amp is worth upwards of $200 us dollars.
How did you stumble across such a gold mine?! Wow
There were 4 wheels at 12:13--12:14, and you took only 3 )
what is the name of the cable cutter you use super efficient! sadly, we don't have the same shops here as there :( maybe it's possible to order?
I have sound
The bike frames must've been steel?
They were, solid and heavy. The rims were probably aluminum but I was being quick and dirty
I dont understand why you dont ever take a good deal of the construction materials out and put in a pile so they are out if the way. The first dumpster you stopped at probably had a great deal down just a little further. You can always put it back in
