Cranberries are available in US. As far as I know in India fresh cranberries are not available. But dried cranberries are available in India. You can try with them if you want. tq for the prompt reply sesirekha garu.....am very pleased with this cranberry recipe but here in India we get dried ones cud you please tell me how I can use them instead....
Dried cranberries means, are they dried & sweetened? If they are dried & sweetened, skip the jaggery and follow the same procedure. I think you don't even have to cook that long. Cook for a few minutes just to make them soft. I am only imagining which I never tried before. But try a small quantity & share the results with me if you can. Try my other cranberry recipes also.
Hello Jyothi garu, Sure, I will show tamarind pickle also. It is hard to find the fresh tamarind where I live. Last year I did not see fresh raw tamarind at all. Now you reminded me. I can not wait. I will keep an eye this year. I hope you enjoyed the cranberry pickle.
Vinegar can be added if there is not enough sourness in that particular vegetable. It is also a natural preservative. You can add vinegar when you add cranberries or you can add at the end and blend it well with all other ingredients Thank you for watching my video. Please share and subscribe. hello madam i tried this pickle just now... it tasted very well.. but im feeling little bitter taste .. very little.. may be due to excess methi powder .. can you suggest any modification to reduce bitterness? i still need to do tempering...!

Some people add vinegar for Indian pickle. If so when and how should I do it!
