A contemporary food court with an amphitheater is being built.
An auditorium is being constructed.
Office buildings are being renovated.
Glass enclosures for tigers, lions and leopards are being built.
Large mammal enclosures for giraffes, hippos, rhinos and bears are being improved.
Monkey houses are being redesigned.
A veterinary hospital is being built.

The Lahore Zoo is one of the largest zoos in Pakistan, currently housing about 1,378 animals from 135 species.
The zoo is managed by the Forest, Wildlife and Fisheries department of the Government of Pakistan.
The Lahore Zoo is the third oldest zoo in the world.
The zoo has several sections and attractions, including the Fancy Birds Aviary, Lion House, Elephant House, Monkey House, Chimpanzee House, Waterfowl Lake, Reptile House, Walk-through Aviary, Chimpanzee Island, and Urial hillock.
The Lahore Zoo Safari was opened in 2009, located near Raiwind Road, about 30 kilometers from the Lahore Zoo.
The zoo offers recreational activities, educational programs, and research facilities.
