OP gave the Wicked Witch the opportunity to villanize Megan. What he should have done is just decline the invitation - or go non-contact. Including with anyone standing behind Laura. I hope he didn't leave a gift.
He shouldn't have gone to the sister's wedding. No invite for wife, no attendance by OP. And NC sister unless/until an apology. OP should also take accountability in being the one that forced his wife to go to the wedding uninvited.
Well, he did RSVPed warning he was taking the wife along, but yes, better skip the whole wedding and explain why on the family socials. Then go no contact and, if the Queen of Boondocks complains, say "don't worry, I'll be there on tour next one!". But Im a petty girl.
I think this would have been a catch 22. If OP did not show she would have said something, if OP showed up without the wife, she would have said something. No matter what what she would have said something.
@@drippingwithdopeness The invitation stated it was for OP alone. OP should have just refused to attend due to the exclusion of his wife, rather than forcing his reluctant wife to attend when she let him know she didn't want to go with no invitation.
@ or maybe…….they shouldn’t have invited him AT ALL expecting him to leave his wife behind after mistreating her. They were absolutely wrong. Clearly you don’t get that as you are probably just as mean spirited as them if you keep defending grown adults bullying another adult.
Ethan was a jerk for dragging his wife to the wedding. If she was humiliated, it was his fault. They should have both just stayed home. It was Laura's day, and that's that.
Hell would freeze before I apologized. That said, I wouldn't have gone to the wedding. Screw Laura. Megan is Ethan's family. He didn't ruin the wedding. No one would have been any the wiser if she had kept her voice down and smiling through gritted teeth asked them to leave. Better yet, she should have followed etiquette and invited both or excluded both. Problem avoided.
Seems pretty good in portraying OP as being the eternal black sheep of the family that can never do any good since he is the "devil" no matter how truthful he is, he will always spew out lies from his mouth in the parents eyes and no matter how untruthful Laura is, she will always spew out the truth in her parents eyes as the eternal golden child of the family that can never do any bad since she is an "angel".
I don't get it why do people choose to stand up to a bully then sit back down (metaphorically speaking) why go to the dinner when there was no sign they care for his wife. He kept poking the hornets nest fully aware the hornets would sting his wife, were he could swing back and protect her. He's letting them spread rumors after agitating his sister, dude really should have actually stood up for her and stayed standing. The only reason it worked out in the end wasn't because of OP it was because Laura couldn't keep her mask on and not because OP fought back.
Even though I know these stories are made up, it still pisses me off,Lol. He shouldn't have even gone to his witch of a sister's wedding. And he should have shunned her right after finding out she didn't invite his wife.
His wife is more mature than he is. He should have just RSVP'd no and all of this problem wouldn't have happened. Seems he finally discovered his family is toxic
while I don't agree with your sister , it was your sister's day so technically she got to make the rule. I don't even see why you went in the first place.
I would have just not gone to the wedding.. When married you are a couple.. You invite one you invite both..

Did you not listen ? He RSVPed for TWO. His sister is a disrespectful weirdo.

He needs to start listening to his wife and stay away from his toxic family.
Laura is the one making her whole wedding about Meghan
He should've just stayed at home. No invite for the wife equals no right to be in my life.
I would like to hear an AI story where OP goes full commando on the "family".
Ethan was a jerk for dragging his wife to the wedding. If she was humiliated, it was his fault. They should have both just stayed home. It was Laura's day, and that's that.
I agree, nut I have the nagging feeling that the sister would complain no matter what.
You have nothing to apologize for
When 2 people get married they become 1. If you disrespect one you disrespect the other.
Why the hell would you go to that wedding?
Hell would freeze before I apologized. That said, I wouldn't have gone to the wedding. Screw Laura. Megan is Ethan's family. He didn't ruin the wedding. The bigger person stands by his wife.

People like that have no right to call themselves family anyway.

All you had to do is to not just go. 🤦🏾♂️
What you allow is what you get💯

Neither of you shouldn't have gone. You created this by going.
Op is the asshole, the rest is a lot, but this was preventable. If she doesn’t invite your wife, rsvp no.

Are all people this weak in the AI world?
