    Love that you mention Cole clears debt. I just binged his channel two days ago. Loved his stuff and he deserves more recognition in the RUclips space, especially with his editing style. I found your channel around the same time and have been binging yours too. Learning quite a bit from you so thank you for all the content! I hope your eBay journey goes smoother from now on, but I can definitely relate to your struggles!

    As a seller for years on multiple platform, feedbacks are just inevitable, more you deal with more problems just right them off and dont take them personally, you have a sea of green positives mate a few negatives not end of world

      @@wheeljack0 Tbh I found mine local to me on Gumtree, was £295. know they are expensive now around 350-400 odd. Tbh try maybe looking at ebay? I see one or two listings for 350 currently, can also do clearpay split the payments up!

    EBay is great when everything is fine but one wrong thing and it screws you over. Unfortunately just have to take the bad along with the good -.-
    I often tend to offer a partial refund so they keep the item and don’t have to mess about with returns. Usually works out alright for me

    Hi mate it’s good to show the highs and lows so thanks for sharing, I completely agree about the feedback system but unfortunately buyer is king, there could be 50 million sellers but if no one is buying they don’t make any money, so because of that they tend to get favourable treatment which can be frustrating, if I get a message saying they aren’t happy I say something along the lines of:
    ‘I’m sorry to hear the item isn’t what you expected, please open a return, send it back to me and as soon as I get it back you’ll get a full refund’ I’ve found that tends to weed out people who want to keep the item or the partial refunders, it is annoying you are right but just work hard and in 12 months that bad feedback will be gone 👍 keep up the good work mate your videos are great!

      @@JayBranno9 brill ill use something similar next time. Just a shame ebay is so favorable for the buyers. Its one of them things just have to kee going and move on. Just a shame we cant leave feedback for buyers.

      Ebay obviously has buyer protection. But when a customer is clearly suppose to return the item amd has it listed on there ebay and still favours em, its backwards.

      @@Frazerflips had two Blu Rays (unopened) sold last month. Guy opened them so destroyed their real value, then tried to play them in a DVD PLAYER (!) and couldn’t so wanted a refund.
      He shipped one of the Blu Rays back, eBay sided with him and he got a refund for both even without sending back the second.
      As with your case, I had other copies if it was a real defect but he was just unable to read that they were Blu Rays not DVDs.
      Feels like it’s all massively automated to the user unless maybe a key word comes in and they actually bother to read a complaint.

    If I am correct, Vinted will soon allow business Sellers on their platform. Hopefully their system will be an improvement 🤞🏾

      Ive allready started the transaction to vinted, love how buyers pay fees and postage so what you get is made clear from start. Only annoying thing is takes ages to get paid out

    Hi mate sorry to say - the buyer is always right. The seller usually don’t have many rights. The buyer will always get what they want. It’s sad. It happens everytime. Please stop using Yodel or Evri. Maybe try using Royal Mail a bit more expensive but a lot better.

      Might start doing this see if i see an jmprovemeht. Also if i send higher priced items i now use parcel 2 go as there returns and refunds is amazing. More to ship but i trust them alot more.

    How did the buyer get refunded without proof that they returned the item?

      @@cheesyblend they sent a photo of the damaged box, which i accepted a return, the buyer never sent item even though i paid for postage, when confronting buyer they stated "didnt have time to send item". Ebay live chat and appeal system had paid out buyer allready so i appealed ot and showed ebay the chat logs and nothing was done.
      To top it off, he left bad feedback amd lied on it and it wont get removed.

    I would have done the lego differently. You had to pay for the return postage, which is £3. Then resell for...£6/7 now its damaged? Thats a chunk of work to make £3/4. Would have it been worth your time? I'd have gone partial, if not full, refund. When I resell I set an hourly rate, if im not hitting it im not interested.

      @MRFXPLAYAZ2007 for clarity I'd have refunded right at the start and not botheted asking for a return. What the buyer did wasn't on, not denying that. However a lot of time was spent resolving the issue, which could have been put to a better use elsewhere.

    aw man I feel this, I had a seller snap the item on purpose and claim it arrived broken (there was no way the part that broke could have snapped in postage) was such a pain to deal with! sorry you're frustrated my guy, just gotta keep on keeping on! still need to find a way to message you privately haha

      The main thing is the feedback system, being unable to leave negative feedback for buyers is the bit which is annoying.
      As for everything else mate, Ebay do protect sellers if the item is "Marked as delivered" and a buyer claims it hasn't arrived or damaged were protected there in that sense. This is just a one off where the item wasn't returned. its a first bad experience in over 2.3k solds.

    Not sure if you’ll see this now but have you tried contacting eBay via Twitter, worth a go of not, Twitter can sometimes be pretty good but not sure if they’ll be able to step in to help but worth a try
