Beane hasn't hit on every pick and free agent signing but the guy has done one helluva job with this franchise and I trust whatever it is they do in free agency and the draft

Signing Curtis is huge. It puts us in a much better position. We can now draft a WR in the first round and not desperately expect him to make a sizable contribution for us to succeed. Great move!

The league doesn't consider Curt's better than Davis, and Davis wasn't a #2. Allen's #2 target will likely be Kincaid. Slot is Shakir. Curt may be receiver #3.
The difference between Curt and Gabe is Curt is a lot faster, he has better hands than Gabe, and he was cheaper. But Curt hasn't even been a consistent starter over his career, so there's a chance Curtis is depth and the Bills' new rookie is starting opposite Diggs.
All this fanfare over Curtis reminds me of Harty's signing last year. I tried to tell folks. He wasn't better than McKenzie before, but Bills Mafia was sure he was going to be a starting receiver catching balls down field all game.

Hopefully this is a return to the Smoke Brown, Emmanuel Sanders role. They have desperately needed speed and route running. Keeping Jones and Epenesa stabilized the line. It’s been a much more productive free agency than I anticipated

One thing that I wish you commentators/analyst would talk about more is the kind of pass that Allen throws that are more likely to be caught. Josh doesn't really throw the ball well on passes that can be turned into yards after catch. Because of that the offense needs to be more focused on the 15 to 35 yard pass that Josh can fire on a line. Josh to Diggs on the flair out within + or - 5 yards of the line of scrimmage is a waste of play. Neither one, Diggs or Josh are good at that play. Josh can throw the ball on a line 40 yards sometimes even when the receiver is on a fly but he is not particularly good at lobbing the bomb.
The other thing the Bills (and commentators) should be doing is talking to the NFL about the pass interference where the defender has the arms of the receiver pinned. Sherfield isn't on the Bills team this year because at least 4 times last year, Josh threw him the ball on a line and the defender tackled him prior to the ball getting there. None of those tackles were called PI. The Bills and Bills fans need to make sure we expect those calls to be made in the future because those are the kind of passes Josh throws best. From what I've heard of Samuel, he is going to see a lot of the same PI as Sherfield. We need to nip that in the bud early.

Ok, with the moves so far in F/A and recognizing the need for D/L. What if in the 1st round, Mr. B goes for potentially good D/L, and because of the type of W/R class, draft one receiver on the 2nd round???🤔
I think they should still go WR unless they don't like what's there and there's a monster for the DL.. unfortunately that's where we're at is having to replenish the DL and if it's a beast I'm okay with it, but they still need to go after WR if possible
We need to trade up high in the first round by giving that team multiple picks and maybe a player. Need that stud WR to be Diggs in 1-2 years. Allen needs it to happen now.

Whoever we draft(bc we will) will be considered our #2. I like Samuel but the only place he’s been WR2 is Washington. He’s a good talent, speed guy, solid route runner, but he doesn’t have certified #2 in him

If we aren't trading up for Odunze, then pick a different position and get a receiver in the 2nd or 3rd round. Still have WR#10 Shakir our best WR in the 2nd half of this past season!
I’d rather a 6’4” 224lb Hollins who can block DE and MLB than Sherfield. Especially a guy who uses his size to get open. And has atleast put up 700 yards. We still need a round 1 WR. But Samuel over Harty every day of the week.

Is there a consensus on what WR the Bills should take? Brian Thomas Jr. seems like the highest rated WR we could conceivably trade up for. If we can't get him do we trade back, take a DT at 28, or is there another WR worthy of that draft status?

If the chiefs picked up these guys it would be crazy because they are most likely going to retain the majority of their D, hopefully Bills’ fans won’t have to shovel any players out this year, and McDermott is a terrible head coach, maybe a great DC, but not HC, you’re front office should have fired him after KC late come back and promoted Daboll

Hollins and Samuel seem like good signings for the 5-15 yard area. I don't have confidence in Diggs as a deep threat anymore so I'm still hoping for Adonai Mitchell in the draft. He looks like the real deal.

@@drew5700 You might be surprised how good Samuel will be playing with Josh Allen. He could have 700-800 yards of receiving. Samuel is better than Gabe Davis.

For halfback in this year’s draft, I favor Trey Benson, Bucky Irving, or maybe A. Blake Corum. If any of them can perform as well as Jahmyr Gibbs did for the Lions, albeit not as a top-ten pick, unless someone with the authority sees one of those backs as being of similar value.

Off topic, it’s time to let the distraction go. Stefon Diggs is the distraction. He’s a Narcissist! Not uncommon for a WR. No need to turn this into a AB situation. Get rid of him while he has value.
Diggs is still the best wide receiver on the team. His contract really prohibits the team from making any sort of move this year. I think their plan is to have digs on the team this season and likely move on from him next.
And he’s not done a thing to warrant being compared to AB
