My husband and I just purchased this exact model 🥰🥰🥰 When we leave on road trips, we still get the same luxury lifestyle that we have at home. Love Love Love My Monaco😎
Couple of comments. Good to see Monaco back in business. Seems a little underpowered vs the competition who use 500-600 hp engines. Disappointed to still see carpets in the slides. Come on people it’s 2020. Great floor plan, and cudos for placing the tv on the drivers side of the coach. One of my pet peeves is loosing the long sofa for theater seat option. Always plenty of room on short sofa side of the coach for those. Way to go. My favorite in this market is still a Newmar but this is a nice start to bring back the Monaco brand.
The 450 HP ISL is more than enough power. I can say this because I drive these coaches. Many manufacturers are putting big power to make the coach look higher end, they then cut corners by not using steerable tags, independent front suspension, stronger(custom) chassis, as most consumers look at HP and not the total drivability. Also, must consumers do not think about overall fuel consumption, it is not the most important item however when you can get 7.5-9 (450HP) MPG vs 3-5MPG (500-600HP). it makes a difference. Just my 2 cents having driven a wide variety of coaches by different manufacturers.
Bella Vista RV Centre Inc Definitely. 450 is enough when I test drive the Tuscany 42’. With 450 it was great but their build quality was not good. I have a 330 hp National that ties my explorer just fine and get 9-12 mpg but it’s only 39’. Gets me up the grades ok.
Bella Vista RV Centre Inc You make some good points. Good to see you put the dinette on the curbside. Seems like the majority of the builders for some reason want to put it on driver side. I know it seems like a small detail but wouldn’t you wanna overlook overlook your own campsite rather than the neighbors?
I run a Monaco Signature 42 with a 450 hp Cummins M-11 and it does well even when towing. However I am pushing an extra 200 lb ft of torque more than the 450 hp ISL.
Helpful tips! I want you to improve your videography skills so you will get a lot more views and sell this gorgeous coach! So please don’t take a offense. Great coach, however you need to edit in some audio at the beginning! theme music, and some titles explaining what we are seeing. I kept looking at my audio to see if My Bluetooth was broken instead of watching the video. The drone video is very choppy, just get out and practice a little more. Or hire a professional drone pilot. I’m sure the commission on this coach would be worth investing in. Also, then you do an initial pan inside the coach, pull down the dayshades, or nightshades so the lighting isn’t so bad. The camera gets confused on what you want to focus on. And your image is almost black when you zoom in around sun lit windows. Good luck and keep doing more videos!
@@lovesweetpeas47 Yes, they are both owned by the same Parent company so they will share some similarities, however the Marquis is a higher end than the Discovery.
The camera work is too close on the interior can't get a feel for the size of the rooms and how they relate to one another and then move the camera a little bit slower as well but don't take close-ups of all time if you don't mind that's my opinion I did a lot of Photography work for many years thank you
Beautiful on the outside and while it is also beautiful on inside, not a fan of browns, beiges or creams. Inside should b reflective of the outside, imho. Despite that still very beautiful.
Many people park these at their own property, some get storage facility parking and some just travel. The coach is fully functional when slides are in.
@@AP-cq1mh At the risk of sounding like a snob. When you run 6 to 8 -6 volt batteries, large inverter, and an all electric coach the solar will not be able to keep up. Also, when you purchase an Ultra Luxury coach like this, fuel capacity 150 gallons(600 litres). The cost to use it, the fuel the generator uses is not a factor to have the lifestyle and conveniences a person wants.
@@RVing_TV and that’s your opinion, here in the Rockies I would want more torque especially if towing. There is a reason semi’s don’t run a small 9 liter motor out here. If someone is gonna stay away from mountains and hills and tow on the lower side or it’s ratings than it probably would be fine.
@@RVing_TV I owe and operate a trucking company trust me I understand power to weight. What is the GCVWR of this rig? You say it only weighs 45000 lbs I’m sure that’s an empty weight with what kind of CCC and tow rating? You have your opinion and I have mine it’s all good, different strokes for different folks as they say. I’m just surprised on a rug that big it doesn’t have a bigger displacement motor therefore more torque is all.
@@BrunoTombari and for an expensive coach it is a ridiculous level of finish. Any prospective buyer will see that and rigthly think if they couldn't be bothered finishing that properly (probably because it can't be seen from the ground) what else that can't be seen is poorly done. It's very easy to mount things and seal the joint as you make it, throwing buckets of sealer over it implies you don't trust the underlying job.
@@chucklesx I am not sure if you have had any experience in the RV industry, however there are many factors to consider as you move a house down the road on wheels, and sealant isn't just slapped on. Some of your assumptions are incorrect in this case.
@@BrunoTombari well we can all choose our standards, but it is the first time I have seen anything like that on a "professionally built" RV. The fact that you as a sales person are defending it speaks volumes.
This is a great ride but you screwed the pooch on the power train it should have the Cummins isx 15 not that little motor lugging up the mountain you can't tow with that 450 horse just not enough power and you shouldn't be snoring it has a night stand for your CPAP beside the bed so that ones on you man lol
This coach is properly powered and will not be lacking. I can confirm this as I have had the opportunity to drive a variety of coaches and powertrains. The 450HP is under rated by many people usually due to the lack of driving experience. The ISX would be overkill in this application.
@@RVing_TV well thirty one years over the road experience told me a lot about those motors so I don't have a lack of it I know what they can do and what the manufactore says but each his own I would want a little more punch but if you like it that's great
@@billdaniels3179 I have a 42' Monaco with the M-11 450hp and it pulls well even in the mountains (had it over Vail Pass and through the Johnson Tunnel). I rather go with a RENEGADE!!! Because it's looks more like a Semi-Truck and has more of a Truck feel to it.....but I Like your guys color scheme but your RV has too much of BUS feel to it..I'm a Trucker with A Class A CDL....not a bus driver....so I rather be an owner of a RENEGADE

Outside it lise it’s ordinary but inside it lise it’s extraordinary😁😁
My opinion is that the interior design of the Monaco is absolutely brilliant . I like it better than those 2 million dollar RV s' .
What a stunning RV.
I really like the dash area, everything is there for the driver as it should be.
I absolutely love the shower, and w/d game changer
I love that wind cover on the top front different look.
It's the A-Team rv.....lol. I pity the fool who don't give this a thumbs up....

Do you need CDL.to.own
It depends on the state that you live in. Many states exempt RVs from the CDL requirement even though the coach weighs more than 26,000 lbs.

When are they going to make 50 footers
Against federal regulations. 45ft 5 inchesy is the maximum allowable length for buses and motorhomes.
Can I order one from Saudi Arabia?
Certainly 😃😁
But where do you park such a monster ? How functional is it with the slides in ?
Many people park these at their own property, some get storage facility parking and some just travel. The coach is fully functional when slides are in.
What's up with not painting the sides of the slides and the underpowered engine?
Agreed. The ISL is not big enough for this coach. The 450 hp is fine, but you need the torque of a larger displacement engine.
Nasty looking tile floor. Also set your camcorder exposure in manual mode to protect your shadow detail when we are looking inside.
Looks like a Volvo FH16 Horsebox
no solar panels why?
when you run an energy management system with auto generator start you will never use solar panels.

Jeez the bondo slobbered all over the awning mounts on the roof is a huge let down on the finish on such an expensive coach.
What you are seeing is not bondo, it is a sealant to ensure all joints and securing points are kept waterproof.
