Calm down Alex.. Have u taken time to count how many interceptions cucurela has made since he started inverting??? I doubt if Enzo has made the same amount of interceptions the whole season... And for Osimhen, it's good to have a healthy competition in the team. Just imagine have Osimhen and Jackson on the pitch in a game, I doubt if any defence line will be able to cope with their tenacity.
The invert position is also perfect for Cucurella because he likes to press put of position
He was doing it consistently even when he was playing as a wide left back, but in that case getting caught out of position and costing the team
So the invert role also improves his impact and minimizes weakness in his game
