1st and only Texan!!! Busy, busy, busy, yep. Hahahaha, I would've gotten a sledgehammee for those boulders but after seeing nat knocking down those in 6 hits, makes ya wonder what else can that little hammer do?
Actually, yes. There are several ways. For starters, little events like seeing animals in the mountain or birds outside your house in the mornings will increase it a little. The best way, however, is to get married and then give your wife gifts on your anniversary. Your happiness score goes up quite a bit for every gift. If you want the specific numbers, go to harvestmoonparadisedotcom. Look up their SNES guide. It's very informative :)
I know this is really old, but you can get the power berry at any time from the chicken statue. You don’t need a new hammer to get it. I did it on day 3 of spring year 1.
Lol. I didn't realize it until after I had told you to go there, but they are apparently having some difficulties. They said on their facebook page that they should have the site up in a couple of days.
So that's what you're doing with the dog! I was taking him in every night and bringing him out every morning, so I'd probably get about 100 if I kept going like that.
Reading a girl's diary will give you SOME indication of affection, but it drops your happiness score 1 point every time you do it. The more specific way to find the score is to use a certain "cheat," (although, the fact that the designers put it in makes me question whether you can really call it a cheat). To do it, just go to bed. As soon as your character gets into bed, hold down L+R+start+select until the next morning. It will "warp" you to the end and you can see scores after the credits.
@TheCrazyGreenGamer Yea, I was never sure. I think sometime in the past I had tried it and it didn't work, but I think I wasn't persistent enough or something. I just recently saw MrEpicDoug get it in the first season, so... I lose!
2024 babyyy!
For 12 years ago the audio was very good

You don't need to throw away the logs, you can actually put them back by throwing them in the place where you would be taking them out.
Thank you, i've been searching all over the internet for help.

Again, I know this comment is several years late, but I couldn't resist.
How to be good at Harvest Moon:
Cheese the system.
You can get that powerberry statue from the get-go, i always get it on the first day of the game :p
Oh, one more thing. That link takes me to a page that says: "this account has been suspended."
Ok, thanks.
How do you look at the affection score?
The benefit of leaving animals outside is that you don't have to feed them. They automatically get fed from grazing.
By the way, is their any way to improve your happiness?
Anytime *thumbs up* :) :D :3 (: :b

Ok thanks, and sorry for being a bother.
Lol, done.
