This quartet, in this configuration, was my first contact with the church 'way back in 1950. Elder Hooper, who either composed or arranged a cornucopia of impressive music in so many media, was so gentle and unassuming that he would never admit what we all knew... that the spirit of God was resting upon him as he worked, leaving his indelible impress on the refined music of the church.
I love the original King's Herald Quartet!! Such a refreshing change from the loud rock style in many churches today!! Watchman on the walls of Zion is a favorite hymn , and powerful message!! Thank you for sharing!!
I love the song Sweeping through the gates of the New Jerusalem it is such a happy thought thank you for producing these musics for. It reminds of what waits for us if remain faithful in Jesus. ❤😅
