    • @JazzForAll157
      @JazzForAll157 2 месяца назад +2

      I have to say, it's not that fast from Django's original 1947 recording. If you listen to the version played by Stochelo Rosenberg at the 1994 North sea jazz fest you will hear a big difference because the tempo is killer. Otherwise, this version is really interesting because Tschavolo combined two Django improvisations together plus added one of his own with an interesting thumb technique that doesn't occur much in Gypsy jazz.

      Solange man noch eine schnelle Bewegung sehen kann, ist es nicht schnell. Guck mal bei Yngwie vorbei. Man sieht kaum eine Bewegung der rechten Hand, ganz zu schweigen von noch schnelleren Leuten. In obigem Stück liegt das Tempo bei ca. 150 bpm, wobei er 4 Anschläge pro beat spielt, bzw. 300 bpm mit 2 Anschlägen.

      @annaxyyxanna was soll der Quatsch? Für einen guten Gitarristen,stellt sich das Phänomen Schnelligkeit nicht.im Tonstudio,sagt der Toningeneur: kannst Du die 16 tel etwas breiter spielen,jeder der Ahnung hat,weiss was gemeint ist.Das Problem der Gitarre ist doch,das lange Töne kaum reproduzierbar sind,meine jetzt die Akustische.Es ist auch immer das Unwissen und Ignoranz der Popfraktion,die Schnelligkeit besonders hervorzuheben...das sagte kein Geringerer als mein Freund Paco de Lucia,es ist auch ein Unterschied,ob jemand schnelle Pentatonik oder etwas anspruchsvoller Diatonik spielt wie Ingwie,oder ob jemand komplizierte Arpeggios wie die Sintis/ Manouche spielt oder gar einen multitonalen Chromatizismus,s.Pat Martino oder George Benson.Beispiel Doubletime im Bepop.Für solche Könner stellt sich das Thema Geschwindigkeit nicht.Bei der 24.ten Caprice von Paganini oder die 12 Etüden von Villa Lobos sieht man auch die Bewegungen,und die gehören zum Schwersten,was die Gitarristik bietet.in der Chaconne von Bach ist ein B7 Akkord,1.Lage.Dazu in der Meisterklasse von Segovia,wo ganz andere Kaliber sitzen,als Sie wahrnehmen:meine Frau hat kleinere Hände als Sie,und die spielt das ganz locker...Das zum Thema Schnelligkeit.in Flamenco,Jazz,Bossa oder indischer Pentatonik,weite Spannungen! gibt es beim Tempoanzug ganz andere Schwierigkeiten.Können Sie improvisieren wie ein McLaughlin oder ein Django Reinhardt,der mit 2 Fingern noch immer Masstäbe setzt.Ebenso ein Amati Schmitt,Adrien Moignard oder ein Gismonti.Dazu George Benson: Ich habe aufgehört,Gitarristen nach ihrem technischen Vermögen zu beurteilen.wenn sonst nix da ist.Gute Kompositionen,Improvisationn,das ist der Massstab.Die Ingwie,ausgerechnet! Fraktion,ohne dem Kollegen am Zeug zu flicken,ja,ja....
      Ein McLaughlin geht asc.o descending bei Läufen durch alle Modalitäten,mal anhören!
      Wenn man wenig Ahnung hat,sollte man mit solchen Sprüchen etwas zurückhaltender sein,Spielen wie Ingwie,den gibts schon!,wenn sonst weiter nix einfällt.Mal einen Joe Pass hören,für den stellt sich so eine Aussage nicht. Nix für ungut!
      PacoPerima momentan Jazzspieler,Flamencostudium und Jazzstudium USA u. Espana.
      40 Cdes.immer schön bescheiden bleiben...

      @@HelmutLosert Den Namen Yngwie habe ich nur wegen der Sparsamkeit der Handbewegung eingeworfen. Seine Musik interessiert mich nicht. Wozu der ganze Roman? Sie müssen achtgeben, nicht den letzten Buchstaben des Nachnamens zu verlieren.

      @HelmutLosert 3 месяца назад

      @annaxyyxanna Leider hat man es im Laufe seines Tuns immer wieder mit Erbsenzählern zu tun.Das zum letzten Buchstaben/ Nachnamen.
      Diese Spezialisten sitzen im Konzert,selbst bar jeder Spielfähigkeit,und kommen mit Sachen an,die unwichtig/ selbstverständlich sein sollten.
      Mein Tip,geh mal zu den Gypsys,die zeigen gern jemand wie es geht!
      Hat die MUPO ( Musikerpolizei wieder zugeschlagen? )
      Zu Ingwie,Sprüche wie Ihrer zu meiner Anerkennung:sehr gute Rechte Hand,( ich kanns nicht so)sind überflüssig und zeigen nur eine vollkommene Ahnungslosigkeit dem Restroke-Picking gegenüber.
      Als ich 12 Jahre alt war,musste ich immer die Alten in der Jazzcombo begleiten,die sagten immer: Ahnung haben sie schon die Kerle,ABER ZUWENIG.Recht hatten sie! DA wurden ü.50 Harmonien auf einen Bierdeckel geschrieben,die hatte man am nä.Tag zu spielen! DAS FEHLT IHNEN.Da übe ich lieber,als mich mit pupertärem Gequatsche aufzuhalten!! PACO PEÑA,weltberühmter Kollege,sagte mal,wäre ich in D aufgewachsen,wäre ich vieleicht ein beschissener Gitarrist.MECKERN DES MECKERNS WILLEN,WO SIND DIE TATEN? Das Land hier scheint voll mit Dummplauderern zu sein,das passiert einem im Ausland nicht.
      Wichtigtuer gibts genug hier!

    If someone doesn't like a fast version, move on. No one benefits from them critiquing his playlist. At least the three musicians play together at the tempo.
    If they play everything this fast, OK, maybe there's a problem. But not with their chops. If playing Dark Eyes for a woman with dark eyes and SHE doesn't like it, someone has a problem.
    If played slower, there would be likely be criticism of something else.
    It doesn't need to be anything more than a show of chops. It's a performance. By definition.

      @@johncash-vr4ks now now, no need to shout. Django wasn't 'Django' at age 18, either. Have you even heard the original Django solo Tchavolo is referencing here? The execution is really solid and anyone who knows the Gypsy Jazz tradition in any depth will know this showcase piece is always done uptempo to sort the men out from the boys, as it were. Yngwie probably couldn't execute this on an acoustic with high action, .10 strings, and at the volume this is being played at. Gary Moore certainly tried and failed.

      @@alexwirtz9497 this isnt a matter of being the most technically proficient playing playing that there ever was...because its not, its "gypsy jazz" and that has the be approached from a respectful place since Django was truly a gifted player well ahead of his time, but these kids are just COPYING that, so their job is to be "authentic" there are MANY players that could play this if they chose to and an album like "Friday night in San Francisco" has equally as good playing...but not in that style, listen to yngwie "Hot on your heels" sure its a "rock song" but please don't tell me that if yngwie became infatuated with gypsy jazz that he couldn't of pulled it off in his younger years, its like telling me shawn lane couldnt do a better job at this if he tried, this kid is good....but he aint THAT good. plus his phrasing just doesnt hit
