Yay! I have the Jemima too but in grey. It’s fab. Re: backpacks... you may not be a backpack person now, but almost every mum I know has become one! I often use a Longchamp pliage backpack. The jem and bea changing mat fits inside and I can easily fit in everything my baby needs for the day. (Although I breastfeed so if you’re bottle feeding you’d struggle to fit bottles too I think! But it’s really nice being able to wear a backpack and your own handbag! X
I want the grey too.....I am yet to convince my husband a second bag is necessary but it is so beautiful! Hahaha give it a year and you might see me with a backpack then. I see so many people with them I bet you're right....2 bags....... xxx
Emma, you showed great restraint in giving the pricey designer baby bags a pass. Love your sensible choice. You may even decide to have more than one. We keep a fully stocked bag in each car for our little (IVF) 20 month old bundle of joy. Works better for us. You know that passion you have for handbags.....well wait until you see all the gorgeous things he really 'must' have. You're in for a real shopping treat. Enjoy every precious milestone as it comes. As someone told me years ago....."On a scale of 1 to 10 motherhood is a hundred." I'm so thrilled for you.
It was a wise decision not to go mad on a bag, the situations/places you will find yourself in changing nappys (exploding nappies) puke/dribble. Changing bums on your lap/in the boot of the car, in toilets that aren’t baby friendly. It’s an nightmare, honestly, just wear a bin liner for the next 3 years LOL
hahahahahahahahahahaha. good point. It's amazing- at each stage of this I keep realising so many things that I don't know- I have a new found respect for mum's, anyone who has ever been pregnant, prior to this I learnt loads that I don't didn't realise about struggling to conceive..... but I guess the biggest learning curve is yet to come xxxx😘
Love the bag your chose. It’s weird for the grey bag to have a black strap but I understand their thinking. The tote savvy is a great idea especially when baby is older and you don’t need to carry so many things.
Thank you! I cannot wait! Honestly the comments I've had on here have been a life saver- left to my own devices I'd have some impractical beige beauty that was not fit for purpose lol xxx😘
Great choice Emma, the bag looks lovely! I definitely keep this one in mind for the future! And I second the comment from Edel Browne, try the Dior strap on it, could work?
Fleur de force has both of these bags. The grey and black. I believe the company or someone else sent her the grey as her in-laws gave her the black I believe. That is the only reason I know this brand. They are beautiful. I think it would be a great bag post baby-bag need as well.
I saw your, and another comment the other day mentioning Fleur and have never watched her channel before- then I have watched so much of it this week- she's fab. And yes.... she has the grey! So stunning. I think I might purchase that too.... just need to sneak it under my husband's radar lol. xxxx
I think my plan for a baby bag, when it comes time for us, is to just buy a bag organizer on Amazon and use a Longchamp Neo with the crossbody strap. Kind of like your plan at the end of the video!
you may not have bought a luxury bag to use as a baby bag but you surely have a baby bag you can use as a hard work/weekend bag. and thank you to light up my day because tomorrow I'm taking a test that I'll miserably fail, but at least I've got your video!!
No more babies for me (8 and 12yr old girls, i’ve done my time) but I’m looking for a new bag for my mobile office, take out the changing mat and this would be ideal.
Also, if you use the bag clips to attach the bag to the pram, the different colour strap isn’t such an issue (I hardly ever use mine with the strap and just attach to the pram)
Emma, I love your choice! I can’t wait to see a review once you put it to use. So excited for you and your family during this exciting time. I think you will be surprised how many years you will use your new bag, even when you no longer have an infant.
Thank you so much Emma - we absolutely love this review of the Jemima! Really hope you enjoy using it. Huge apologies for our slow response on email, all the very best! 😊
OMG- I feel so bad about this- thank you for your lovely reply- I wish I could edit it out of the video now but thank you so much for getting back in touch. The bag really is beautiful and I can't wait to start using it xxx
Lily Jade Makes beautiful leather baby bags with wipe-able lining. I have 5 kids, and that bag is my go to baby bag! I don’t like using my LV Neverfull because of the possibly of spills and dirty diapers/clothes.
Love your beautiful baby bag great choice. Buying a luxury designer baby bag isn’t worth it to me. Baby bags get beat to death and you only use them for a few years. I hope your pregnancy is coming along great and you’re feeling good. You’re glowing from ear to ear. How far along are you?
Great choice! I also looked at this bag. I decided to go with the Storksak/Bugaboo leather baby bag because it is a bit smaller and I loved the interior. I also almost went with Burberry or Prada. P
I saw your comment a few days ago and watched her review... then her nursery.... then her pregnancy....now I'm a bit hooked. She seems lovely- and she has the grey one too! xxx
For my first baby, I was gifted with both a Burberry baby bag and a Kate Spade one as well....and I never used EITHER of them. Because "pretty" is not a qualification of a good diaper bag! Once you realize what you're going to throw in them: bottles of formula, baby food, wipes, diapers, burp cloths (which you will have to throw back in the bag when you're out and the baby SPITS UP on them!), etc. it just seems totally ridiculous and a complete waste of money. Now I have two children and my top 2 diaper bags are hands-down the Petunia Pickle Bottom and the LeSportsac --SO lightweight, which makes the hugest difference.
Ok you had me at the name of the Petunia one! hahaha. I've just had a look at their website and they're lovely....no......no more bags..... but the materials do look lovely. You make excellent points- I am still in my phase of totally delusional ideas of motherhood- and I need some good common sense. I'm definitely going to keep these brands in mind though so thank you xxx😘
I contemplated a luxury brand baby bag but ended up with a Fawn Design bag that I'm absolutely in love with. Well, I'm in love with the quality and blush color because I still have 9 weeks until baby girl is here and I can put it to use, lol. I hope all is well with you and your baby!
We live in a semi rural area and my husband already has off-roading ideas so we need something durable and with great suspension haha..... I'll let him push at those moments though 😉xxx
@@Emmaanders prams are like handbags- you might end up with several! Haha! (I´m a pram collector. The addiction started when my youngest son was born.)
Emma Anders yes, very happy with it. I’m usually not a backpack fan, but there is something for hands free especially when you carry the baby in a baby carrier etc. almost 3 years of use (on and off) and it looks great
Please reconsider the choice off pram and get something where the stolller part can lie down flat otherwise you are putting your child in a sided position witch is not healthy for the hip, baby can end up getting very tight hip flexors and also bad for the spine! Off course do your own research on this and pick what you think is best. I just wanted to make you aware off it in case you hadn’t thought about it The bugaboo is small so baby can only be in the carrycot the first 6 months so will quikly “graduate to the stroller part” My baby is 7 month now and this video makes me think I might need a new babybag... congratulations on the pregnancy
I love that this video was posted on the same day my son was born! 👶🏼♥️

I love this video dear! I’m definitely making note of these for when hubby and I have our own little addition 💕
I feel you made an incredibly good decision purchasing that bag. I agree with the other viewers ; buy a designer strap to go with it.
Congrats!
Thank you 😘xx
Great choice, both the bag & organizers! You’ll see once the baby is born practicality is key!😘

I have so many recommendations for a longchamp bag- they're so good because they're light weight. Sounds like a plan to me xxxx

Lovely choice 😊
Great choice. I wonder why it's difficult see one that looks like that where I live in Nigeria, cause baby bags double as mom's bag when you use them.
Such a lovely video. Love watching your luxury videos.
Thank you xxx

how about it being waterproof? i see the sides are open is that a concern? thats also why im leaning towards gucci
Another thought, always carrying some antibacterial wipes in your bag, so you can wipe the surface down first, before you put the mat down
AWW SO HAPPY AND EXCITED FOR YOU X
Thanks- I'm so excited all the time now..... not long to go! xx

Emma Anders doing well and she is my first! Very excited to meet her.

Lovely baby bag! Your choice of pram amazes me a bit. I would have thought you were a "proper pram" (coachbuilt pram) girl. xx

I've been looking into this 'swaddling' thing- I have so much to learn! xxxx
Hahaha first! ...now to watch xxx
Great topic, Emma! I actually got a Burberry backpack with monogram- getting it as a babybag was the perfect justification for that purchase 🤩
Btw Anya Hindmarch has a functional babybag too
aaah Burberry... lovely choice... of course that is the best justification hahaha. How long have you used it for- has it worn well? xx

i read that brand as gem and bay xD now i'm considering a luxury baby bag for my brother who gets married in october haha
haha- Jem and Bea...good present idea (my brother is also getting married at the end of the year and this sounds like a good plan....) xx
I think youtuber Fleur de Force, if you know who she is, has that one(or at least one very similar from the same brand).
It is- a few people pointed that out and I've binge watched her channel this week..... she makes me want the grey one so much haha xxx
💖💖💖
No way did she say the Hugo boss dummies are gangster 😩 micro aggressions 😤
Hmm no i'm not liking it, but if you love it rock it!
Fair enough- each to our own! I have something else coming very shortly that hopefully you might like 😉 xx
Please do NOT hang your baby bag on your stroller. It's a huge danger.
Nthg compare with gucci 🥹
