now HestiaCP is one of the best alternatives. Fast, everything on board, which is needed for standard web hosting. including ready prepared nginx reverse proxy, mail, firewall, iser management, auto off site backup via ftp or to Backblaze…. File Manager, and so on.
Such a pity that CentOS is end of life, pretty much. And why on earth CWP is not migrated/forked to use with debian beats me. I've used ISPc and CWP and many paid ones, plesk, cpanel, and all free ones too, like hestia, froxlor, virtualmin/webmin/usermin, you name it, but CWP beats them all hands down. Better UI, more logical interface, less messy under the hood. You can still do your own stuff under the hood without immediately ruining the control panel's ability to make stuff easier for you. A CP should not control the OS, but just interface with what it sees the OS is configured as. This is what CWP is good at.
They are not as mature as others like DirectAdmin, but even the ones like them have a hard time implementing new features and bugfixing! For years, users are asking them in the Forum for features like MongoDB management, NodeJS, NPM module installation, composer installs, etc.. Still, no sign of when these features are added or if they are going to do it or not! Just recently they added a new theme, after years of an ugly html4 template!
There are couple of solutions for node and php. Pleks has that option. I have been trying and smoothly working. If you are comfortable with shell commands Dokku is very good solution you can host any languages. Also Caprover docker based control panel.
@@uenmedia4528 Thanks for the recommendations mate. Havent heard about Dokku and Capover, will explore them. Been stucked with CWP for past week, and it all seems so frustrating and unreliable, so I will defo give a try on those. Do you have any experience with Capover, and what are your impressions?
@@gomo5628 Yes caprover is very stable working even you can deploy docker files from control panel. But of course interface need to get used to it. Their documentation also very clear.
@@uenmedia4528 I am a bit unfamiliar with the docker concept, and from what I have seend from the CapRover demo, all the apps seem to be hosted as Subdomains. My needs involve running multiple TLDs on one shared IP so not sure how to pull that out with NginX in combination with CapRover.
CWP I do not believe so much paid support and run smooth! At the beginning I was tried once. But CWP had lot’s of issues and they never mentioned about on their website. So if you are planing to install CWP think twice and try first on your own server. Doesn’t mean cheap good and stable.
Maan I have been sleeples for 3 days now, trying to properly configure the CWP...Spend a day for each reinstallation, then configure domains and dns and right before you think ok you are all set and you can finally go and develope some site...BOOM something breaks and apache fails and noo solution to recover without reinstallation of CWP...and we all know that you need to completely reinstall the OS and all those additional craps...its just a fken headache.
HestiaCP is great. Here is a Dashboard overview for hestiaCP : ruclips.net/video/eE3St7zcaU0/видео.html . It is lightweight and works right out the box.
Hestia is stupid panel .it's filemànager has very less features we can't edit file and we can't change permissions a lot of bugs I don't recommend hestia I used it but I was deleted it ..
@@bitcoinlitcoindogecoinethb9796 Doesn't matter. I have used nearly every free panel and I still recommend Hestia. Free , lightweight and easy to use. Change permissions via SSH or via your FTP client and stop complaining.
@@bitcoinlitcoindogecoinethb9796 Thank you for saving me the time. I checked out RUclips videos on it and it is the same source using different names doing all of the commenting and same with comments.

Its now called Control Web Panel (CWP) and you can install it on RockyLinux or AlmaLinux 8.x. They are the CentOS successors.
Please get to the point. The titles are free alternative. Show the free alternative without so much intro.
