Sun of the Stick is a 2005 comedy video made by SoundSmith. A sequel to The Stick (1994), it is the second installment in The Stick franchise, an adaptation of the comic book series of the same name by Dark Horse Comics. The film stars Jamie Kennedy as Tim Avery, an aspiring animator whose child is born with the powers of the Stick. It co-stars Alan Cumming as Loki, whom Odin has ordered to find the Stick, alongside Traylor Howard, Kal Penn, Steven Wright, Bob Hoskins as Odin, and Ryan and Liam Falconer as Tim's baby Alvey. Ben Stein cameos as Doctor Arthur Neuman from the original video. The video was considered cringe by all who watched it, and SoundSmith has publically disowned it.

@user-nq1ir6yt6w The Mask, hey, isn't that the beloved green masked guy show that everyone retroactively started to unironically like? And that had Jim Carrey? That The Mask? How did it fail? Too silly for the time, the CGI didn't do it for most people? What happened?
@@emperorbooglitch8540 No actually, the original Mask movie is honestly very well loved. I think it was the most popular movie that year as a matter of fact. Even nowadays, it's very well-reviewed with both the humour and the writing standing up very well to the test of time. The CGI, whilst obviously not the best, actually lends a lot to the humour giving it a sort of, cartoony, vibe. The Son of The Mask was a lot more hated because of the different approach it took. Jim Carrey was no longer in the movie, which spelled it's doom from the start as the original Mask was actually his claim to superstardom. On top of that, the writing was quite child-oriented and the humour was heavily tamed down for younger audiences. And then, as CGI became a lot more advanced and accessible, they relied too heavily on it throughout the movie, making most critics feel like it was just a poorly written flashy mess of a sequel. Sorry for the wall of text, I really liked The Mask as a kid 😅
Seeing an enemy on fire and chasing them down with a Sun-on-a-Stick is genuinely one of the best highs you can feel in TF2. It's such a niche use case, and it isn't even the optimal strategy (just shoot with gun) but it feels so nice when the gears start turning
6:30 As for the collector's sun-on-a-stick, at some point on either July 4th or July 5th 2018 the collector's sun on a stick you had was traded, however, to who I don't know. Later, on July 27th 2018, the item would resurface in the inventory of a rich tf2 player named bolt (currently #694 overall), at the time of the trade they were known as waffles. I attempted to figure out who they received it from, but it seems it never was logged on backpack.tf's end.
I love the recent trend of holding on a still shot of a hostile entity, be it an enemy Pyro, or a crit rocket. Cutting to a freezeframe of the aftermath from the encounter, and then quickly cutting to active footage. It's legit one of my favourites.
It helps to have friends, lol. Seriously, when me and even the random people that I add to my friends list coordinate, we can pull off some incredibly stupid strats

If you happen to be using the Shortstop it's actually ideal. The SoaS crit does like single digit more damage than a point blank Shortstop shot lol
It Is optimal against Vac medics who are on fire if they have a shield up, which they Always Do

The Sun on a Stick is actually kinda decent if you have a Pyro working with you. Slight problem - no wants to work as a team in Team Fortress 2.
SOaS is actually one of Scout's best melees. You're never gonna use them anyways, so the damage resistance to fire is nice.
