Hi Luke, I love the revisions John Reese and others made to this beautiful Hymn. I'm eagerly waiting for the great day "When He shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in Him be found! Dressed in His righteousness alone, Faultless to stand before the throne!" Beautiful job playing and singing this one. Thank you Luke. Blessings
I sang "My Hope of Built on Nothing Less" as long back as I can remember (a long time since I'm entering my 70th year). I appreciate you were unwilling to simply accept a modern interpretation and did your research. As believers must return to the basics with messages inspired by His Holy Spirit for the glory of God Almighty.
We used to sing this hymn in a small Wesleyan church where I asked the Lord Jesus to be my Savior many years ago. It’s one of my favorites. Thank you for giving the history of it. I always enjoy your videos. Thank you, Luke!
Edward's faith was firm! I love it! Yes, with tormenting demons raging all around me, I keep my armour on and I keep my eyes fixed on my beautiful Saviour, Jesus. They can't make me curse Him. I curse THEM and praise my Lord all the louder. They just make me love God more and more. 👑
The melody, rythm, and harmony of the hymn "On Christ the Solid Rock" is more of heavenly origin compared to the modern song Cornerstone, which I have never heard before. Nice channel!
I belong to Christ and I am within this Cornerstone. 2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Thank you and God bless you and your family.
God bless you

I wonder if there is a video with just the original verses?
I don’t like cornerstone
