Can confirm that all of my Sempervivums (sempervivae?) that were outdoors in December here in Tennessee when we had over a week of -10 to -25f temperatures made it through without breaking stride. All of them came from MCG. Even my globiferum hedgehog was like "Okay, since you're stuck in there I'm just gonna go ahead and have like 12 babies now." It got so cold that the condensation in the air froze all of my doors shut. Literally couldn't leave without risking breaking a door.
What a winter! So glad your semps marched right through it. Here's to even more babies this spring!

Agree! Packed very well and got here quickly (willamette valley, Oregon) wet wet wet here and had lots of freezing days. Just losing the snow in the hills this week. I have had succulents for 30-40 or so years out in the yard and in planters. Most of the planters I put under the eaves or in the greenhouse...rarely lose any. The old window box we did cover it a few days. A smaller pot lost 3 but the wind was blowing water into it ...6” pot. So it got saturated then temps dropped to high 20’s. All were ones I have about 50+ of. Honestly give a lot away! MCG has a great variety of wonderful Sempervivum redoing some landscaping and plan to get some for around an old pump house. Going to be hard to choose.
