As an aspiring architecture who constantly fantasizes about creating my own city in Arizona, I'm all for new housing in the Prescott area, but this development seems way to close to the Dells. I get choosing to build there because of the Dells, but the rolling hills of grass make an amazing contrast to the riparian area & granite outcroppings, building houses on those hill will take away a key component of the areas natural beauty. The plans for the park are also a terrible idea sense it will require the destruction of the riparian area (unless the idea is to just add walking trails within the forest). I know this vid is 4 years old so I don't know if the area was developed yet or not, but if it is to be developed, I hope the housing development area is pushed further from the trail and dells. The park should at most be walking trails within the natural riparian area, & the resort need not even be considered for construction.

Why not just leave it as is?
