I didn't know there was a name for this celebration, Deipnon. So I learned something from your video. I also have done "new moon" rituals, since it's the opposite of some other ppl's practice (full moon) I prefer it.
Like you I bought some land in the countryside (wisconsin, but I live in Chicago). I can't say I figured out how to live off that land or anything yet, since there are no jobs there. But it has a "spiritual" meaning to me even if I don't visit it often, or maybe just a daydream where I'm building a castle there or sth, lol.

Maybe you should put out some food for foxes and coyotes on your land. They like cat food . Bird feeders are nice too and you can leave nuts for the squirrels in them, too.

This is the first video of yours I've watched. Just found the channel. I used to feel so deeply like you do. I used to cry all the time when I'd watch the news. I'm still sad but it's like I've run out of tears. I just think we should have evolved past this by now. Wars I mean.
A lot of senseless killing all through human history. That being said have to bring up the fact that the native populations religions in the history we know wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. The Aztecs come to mind. Human sacrifice was practiced by most religions at some point in history all over the world as was slavery. It doesn't make it okay that this country started out how it did but it's never just been yte folks doing these things and it's not just yte people doing it today. A culture being yte and non Christian doesn't mean they are good or respectful to life or the earth.
And I know you won't like this comment but another horrific things are still happening in most cultures and just not okay no matter the shade of skin or the religion

Welcome to the channel! From your comment it seems you made A LOT of assumptions about me and what I was saying. Of course all areas of the world and all different kinds of cultures have wars and other atrocities such as slavery in their history. To discuss all these things would take soooo long. I was just sharing my thoughts and feelings on specifically the colonizer mindset/history of the white man colonizer and what it’s done to the world. I was mostly thinking of the genocide of the indigenous peoples of the americas and the ongoing genocides in the Congo and Palestine. I was also thinking of the countless times through our history that different European countries have colonized and enslaved other nations. I think we can all agree that through our history and in modern times the white man is almost always the colonizer in the scenario. I completely agree with you that I think we as humans should have evolved past this by now. If you knew me and my channel a bit more you’d know that I’m currently studying religion and indigenous history/culture at university… so I do know what I’m talking about. 😂 At no point did I say the only people who cause problems or wage wars or commit genocide are white people. I don’t know if you are apart of the pagan community but every single pagan I know has an immense respect and love for the earth and all its people. I’m speaking of modern American pagans. I’m not talking about every single ancient civilization… as there were MANY. Again welcome to the channel! I hope you can now understand better what I was saying without putting your own bias on my words. ✨

Whereas the Aztec were in Central Mexico and a specific historical culture, the lands in the United States are from the primarily North American indigenous tribes, including Canada, that largely lived in vastly numerous and smaller hunter gatherer tribest who were largely at peace with the land they lived on and stewarded. Much of the detriment and harming of the natural environment and its peoples in North America stemmed from early and persistent genocide and culture erasure and environmental destruction and resource exploitation that is clearly laid out in early American history up to the Civil War up to the 60's with Lenoard Peltier and up to 2016 onward with North Dakota Pipeline among many others throughout North America.

Ive been seeing whats happening in Palestine for a long time, and every time it almost brings me to tears. It’s absolutely disgusting how our governments are just allowing it to happen (even tho I’m from Spain, our government is still selling weapons).
I’ve been interested in Hekate for a long long time, but I never find the moment to start my relationship with her. This has been a really good video, love your content❤️

be careful of snakes, they like
    long grass like that!
    those trees looked quite
    young to me.. probably they
    levelled that whole forest
    when they first came there,
    that´s what they´ve done
    everywhere (not called orcs
    for nothing).
real old trees, you can´t put
    your arms around them :)

They definitely didn’t level the whole forest where I am… haha But yes I always am on the look out for wildlife like snakes! Luckily we don’t have any poisonous snakes where I live.
