The Chiefs have a way of being just as good as they need to be, depending on who they're playing. The offense gets better when playing against top defenses. The ball comes out quicker, and the rock gets pounded harder.
Andy and his staff are sharper with the opponents tendencies.
Patrick is the best leader a QB can be. He is the driving force, and the motivational multiplier that unifies his team and makes it successful.
Mahomes is great for sure but O line holds every play and they win close games every time due to refs bailing them out

Every time Shanahan and Reid face off, it’s like a clash of two titans. It’s like two offensive gods colliding and leaving the earth shaking.
The matchup is like watching the Harlem Globetrotters vs. Washington Generals. One team looks like their dominating while the other team is just coasting then takes care of business toward end (always wins). Maybe the Chiefs let the 49ers win this time (haven't won since Harbaugh days).

However the Cheifs despite being undefeated are often squeaking out close wins and are hardly piling on points. The Cheifs might win and continue their winning streak but I think the game will actually be close.

the last 3 games have had special teams failures for SF and they dont seem to have an answer for bad kick off coverage. probably play a key factor in field position for KC. this could be a bubble popping moment of for this SF team where they get blown out at home due to the flaws in defense and special teams
Spot on. Also the niners just signed Anders Carlson who’s absolutely atrocious because their 2 kickers were both injured on returns smh. So essentially (depending on yardage) Reid knows the Niners will probably go for it on 4th down at a higher percentage rather than a FG because of Carlson being unreliable

It's going to come down to whether SF linebackers can get wins. Fred Warner's ability to move laterally has been off this year. Other linebackers haven't stepped up as of yet. Expect to see a lot 12 & 13 personnel groupings from KC to take advantage of the Niner's linebacker issues and the obvious defeciencies that they have at receiver.

Multiple things can be true. Purdy has been sloppy a couple of games, largely due to the high degree of difficulty of what he's asked to do this year, he's also been awesome most of the season and has certainly outplayed Maholmes so far (9.1 air yards per completion vs 3.5 for Maholmes, that's a much harder degree of difficulty).
@@nathanhertz849 there are individual sloppy plays in every game. But, Purdy has not had a “bad” game yet this season. It’s the same as the three game losing skid last season, Purdy got the blame for the defense not doing their job while putting the offense in bad situations. A couple bad decisions this season, probably, those will happen every year and game. Some of the bad decisions are the best decisions in any potential situation. Bad throws, which are different, I have only seen one. The high and slightly behind pass to Deebo. However, there was a defender charger him, he has had many balls tipped in the air. Maybe he threw high because he had to? Maybe the direct ion was miss placed a touch. But thank god it was Deebo and not Aiyuk, because Aiyuk don’t make those catches. Purdy knows his WRs and what they can do. Have you ever noticed Purdy will lead Aiyuk into a dive, Purdy knows that is something Aiyuk can and will do. But you never really see Purdy throw to Aiyuk when he is completely covered. When he does, it’s a ball that aiyuk away from the coverage. Or it is a straight dot into the pocket of Aiyuks elbow and chest. The only sloppy “play”coming from the 49ers is the defense more often than not, and the special teams when it matters the most… whether it mattered at the time or not.

The reason the Chiefs are playing at the 49ers stadium during the 2024 regular season despite the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl last year comes down to the NFL’s regular scheduling formula, not the outcome of the Super Bowl. The NFL does not specifically schedule a “rematch” of the Super Bowl the following season. It’s about division rotation.
