  • The city is ready for Eurovision. Various artists have colored the city with photography, installations, street art, art in the outdoors and fashion. The last discipline has now been added: light art. Mothership came up with a total of three concepts to dress up the city with light. Together, the three concepts tell the story of Rotterdam: the city then, now and in the future. During the entire festival week, Rotterdam will literally and figuratively be in the spotlight. Last night, Mayor Aboutaleb turned the city on for the first time.
    Ode to anniversary Erasmus Bridge
At the end of March a musical act was recorded for the live shows of the Eurovision Song Contest with the Erasmus Bridge as a stage. Mothership beautifully lit the bridge, popularly called The Swan, and gave it wings. The swan flies with its luminous wings into the future and brings light and togetherness to the world. The bridge celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and has become the symbol of Rotterdam's courage and resilience.
