The child appears out of the blue set and the first impression is that she doesn't blend in with it but she then immediately dominates the set with her voice and presence with song lyrics of adult reactions and emotions. Astonishingly powerful performance!

Yes, I love to hear Angelica. She has been through a medical crisis spending days on life support and leaving her with nonfunctioning kidneys. Her mother gave her a kidney and she is the vibrant, loving child she is today. I say all that to say going through a big medical crisis like that changes kids. Often they are more mature, have more developed sense of what is important and a better sense of self. It's amazing to see. I believe her experiences have informed her singing and it is marvelous to be drawn into her music.
I totally agree that everyone should be very spare in messing with her natural talent. She is awesome just like she is.

The difference with Angelica and other child singers is she does this all on her own, the arrangement everything, she has a coach to correct her timing and advise her on presentation but it is all her, the choice of song presented to her by AGT, wonderfull reaction. Xxxx

Thank you for your input. It is just amazing that she has full capacity in one lung because of the damage from double pneumomia. She picks the songs and performs the way she choses and she does it so unbelievably well.
In one of Angelica's videos she showed how she did her daily vocal exercises. In another she explained how her parents have paid for vocal lessons since the age of 3. In a video just published on 12/7/2018 she an interview where describes how obstacles and her struggle with health issues form the basis of how she connects to her audience with so much emotion. In addition, she should be releasing a debut album where she has co-written half the songs very soon! Starting January 7, 2019 she will be competing once again on AGT Champions competition where many of the most popular acts from years gone by will be competing once more. She's home schooled so it gives her the opportunity to be very dedicated to her craft without distraction, she studies and practices hard also plays the piano quite well. Her vocals continue to improve as well as her stage presence since this video. Not bad for an 11 year old!

@@TaniaLevy Angelica is on her way back home from Calcutta. Someone uploaded 35 minutes of cell phone video of her 5 song set along with an interview. Her poise during interviews, stage presence and vocals have all improved so much since AGT! Angelica is really an amazing kid. BTW, has anybody knew or forgotten that she has a full Pilipino blood? Her Dad is Fil-Am and her Mom is pure Filipina. What do you think her genes composed of? She's so adorable and humble.
There is something in her voice that makes it easy to listen to.

Hi Tania, nice to see you back. I also love Angelica, and totally agree with your analysis. She did really amazing performances all along AGT. Now she developps something else as she is growing. ANd she wil keep improving for sure, but AGT performances were perfect. I love her emotion. She often brings tears in my eyes, or even makes me cry. I'm sure I will see her singing in live one day. She is so talented.

Hi Tanya. Though this "Clarity" is still my favorite from her, a very much improved Angelica Hale has just gotten the golden buzzer 5 days ago on AGT: The Champions. This time they've invited the champions and some runner ups from past AGT seasons to compete head to head against each other. Angelica advances automatically to the finals after receiving the golden buzzer from Howie Mandel. Kindly react to her performance where she sang "Fight Song". Thank you. :)

Thanks for reacting to Angelica's first AGT live performance. The "Mariah" note (high falsetto) was indeed a surprise. You've now reacted to her first AGT audition and her first AGT live performance. You should take a look at her first outdoor concert performance of "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" to see how her voice continues to grow and how much her performance skills have improved.
