The carpet at the bottom is such a good idea! I’ve been considering a fog effect ravine for awhile, but your beautiful tutorial solves all the little problems that I was unsure about. Thanks! (Edit) I’ll be making something much more similar to your incredible cave now!
First this is such an epic build and I learned something new with the fog glass which is really cool! Second hhaha I’m building this rn in survival and I .. made the RADIUS 19🤦🏻♀️ lol so now I’m shrinking it 😅 clearly should have been more observant. I wasted all that time carving out the mountain.
Woah, that's an awesome tutorial ! I'm really amazed by the fog effect, simple but smart ! :) It must be so beautiful with shaders. Can you do more lush cave tutorials please ? You are so underrated, it's a shame
I did say 19 blocks in diameter. It’s a cave so rough walls look better anyway. You can also use a Minecraft circle generator if you want a perfect circle.
I'm currently building this in my world and I am having a problem. I play on bedrock and I can see the outlines of each individual glass piece and it kind of ruins the fog effect. any idea of how to fix this?
@@ahmdmikal You combine red dye with blue dye. You can obtain red dye from beetroots which are easy to farm and blue dye can be obtained from lapis which is easly obtainable if you have a pickaxe with forutne III
It took 3 hours for my survival world so great tbh I made it a lot more bigger and changes some stuff but..still dame concept the glass and everything is just so good.
What texture pack did you use on bedrock? I seem to not get the same look with the purple glass, and i can still see the individual lines. Awesome video btw!
I did try to give out the block measurements that need to be dug out when starting . However it is a organic build so copying it block for block is not as important but to just copy the general layout and you will end up with something very similar.
im building this in survival, im using connected glass mod too but you can really see the gap between the glass layers and they are too clear and also with 6/7 layers you can still see the carpet, are you using some mods/optifine or im just messing up?
Love the build but the way u give especifications about the size of the build really messed me up for a good while. I havent seen later videos but i would like to ask for u to add edits of some block amount lenghts for the future.
Because it’s a cave and dug out I don’t have a exact materials list. I would say the only thing you really need a lot of that’s not some kind of stone is purple glass.
I tell you exactly how many blocks to dig in each direction! And because it’s a natural looking cave it doesn’t have to be exactly the same to look amazing! You have some creative freedom!

Great work matt! This looks incredible. I really love the addition of the geode, it looks so realistic.
Thanks Rofo
You are seriously underrated bro. Please don't stop making content. Please. I love your work
I am doing this for my minecraft survival world... this is has been taking me 3 days and not finish yet. Mostly because i only have iron pic
You finished breaking obsidian with your your iron pic or?
man i just used stone it was so hard i just skip it 😭😭@@redfight_

Thank you for the very kind words! I hope to keep building more cool things like this!

Great video man! Defo gunna be using this in my base!!!
Thank you Blocky!

I’m glad you like it… I designed it in a way that if someone wants to make it bigger or smaller you can or it. It all is up to you!
this is insane! :D i really liked it
(and at first i thought the glass at the bottom was purple water with purple smoke haha it looks amazing)

Sick build dude. Also, you sound just like Mr. Rogers! Awesome.
Thanks 😊
Love the build, great explanation, will be using something similar, thank you.

Great inspiration. Thanks.

about to start making this in survival!!
I first made it in my hardcore survival world! 😀 Have fun!
@@MrMattRanger thanks! its going to be difficult to get the materials but im going to keep trying :)
Absolutely love the video!! Keep up the good work that you’ve been doing!!!! Hope you have an amazing week!
Thank you! You have a great week too!!
That's a really nice looking build. We'll explained as well.
Thank You!
Bro you are so underrated
Just one word.. Wow.
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you!!
This took me ages in survival
I like the thought of an end crystal in a little hole in the back of the cave behind the enchanter
I’d love to see someone try it !
Amazing work!
Luck I guess ;)
Great video and I really like that build :)
Thank you!
That looks amazing!
Thank you
the fact i am building this in survival rn so far i have the dome and the enchanting table
Nice! I built this in survival first as well before I made it into a video!
For the dome, what are the measurements you put in, i'm kinda struggling
wow, it's really realy cool, I like it a lot, you are incredible
Thank you so much 😀
I'm building this in survival rn and it's taking alot of time and also gonna be a bit hard but I'm still trying lol
what are the measurements for the dome?
I try to go over it in the video as best I can. It’s a cave style build so it does not have to be perfect!
Yeah it's a bit hard to get
I wish u explained the dome a bit better I’m having a hard time on it
You could use campfires as the the light source so it has an actual fog that rises up?
is this intended as a creative build? cuz i was gonna build this in survival but idk if some of the materials are even attainable for survival
All the materials are available in survival! I built it first in my survival hardcore world before making a video on it.
i just made it on survival
If it helps anyone, I did the dome by 6s! When doing the sides, go six in:)
Amazing i like how u build!
I’m glad you like it! I hope to do more videos you may enjoy!
You could have given some guide on the circle on the first build
I did say 19 blocks in diameter. It’s a cave so rough walls look better anyway. You can also use a Minecraft circle generator if you want a perfect circle.
Right... it's a sphere so the 19 blocks diameter dont rlly help
For carving out the cave it was VERY difficult but other then that the cave looks good
I got an idea to do this but imma do it in survival, it might take about a week for me to finish it tbh
This looks amazing. Just one question does it have lvl 30 enchantments?
It does have level 30! I made sure of it!
In bedrock too?@@MrMattRanger
I'm currently building this in my world and I am having a problem. I play on bedrock and I can see the outlines of each individual glass piece and it kind of ruins the fog effect. any idea of how to fix this?
Unfortunately not. I have built this fog glass effect in bedrock as well and when it’s done it still looks good!
Probably just add more layers
great work bro but its to expensive when it came to build on survival mode :D
It is not to expensive on literally built it first in survival hardcore!
@@MrMattRanger how do u get alot of purple thing to make purple glass?

Could we have the fully built world seed?
sadly I don’t have access to this build 😔
i do this enchanting room in survival , and damn its so loooooooooooooong to collect the ressources
Should Have Done A Materials List At The Beginning 🙃
That is very hard to do with a build like this since it’s not a block for block build and everyone will end up with a different amount used.
Fair. Thank You For Responding. 👍🏼 Big Fan Of Your Content
Good build but would like to see how many materials I need because I’m doing this on my survival world
Because its a big more of an organic build and everyone will do it a little differently its hard to make this.
@@MrMattRanger oh ok thanks, but do you know every block you used so I can get a couple stacks of each kind you used?
What texture pack did you use on bedrock? I seem to not get the same look with the purple glass, and i can still see the individual lines. Awesome video btw!
I didn’t use any texture pack but even tho you can seen the lines it still looks really good
Yeah same here, I’m having that trouble as well
only if he told us how to do the dome, cant seem to figure that out
How do i build this in survival, i need tons of scaffolding plus its a headache job to do, I really wanna do this it looks so beautiful
It is a lot of effort! I built this first in survival before making this tutorial
Which texturepack do you use?
what mod do you use for the glass to not show individual glass
Optifine
How does your glass blend so smoothly. Do you have shaders or a texture pack? The outlines on my glass blocks are too harsh.
Grass is not involved in this build at all but no I don’t use texture packs.
@@MrMattRanger grass lol? And okay. Thanks for the response 😁
@@JasonnPRZ You know what i just woke up LOL. Yes i was using optifine which connects the glass.
@@MrMattRanger dang. I was hoping I could work something out for myself. I’m on mobile, and glass (especially the fog effect) looks awful 😅
this a good a video but Jesus Christ dude give the messurements for the digging out section you left it so vague

I am using optifine in the video but it should work fine in regular vanilla as I’ve built glass like this without mods
Please tell me the height and width
Love the build but the way u give especifications about the size of the build really messed me up for a good while. I havent seen later videos but i would like to ask for u to add edits of some block amount lenghts for the future.

@@MrMattRanger oh gotcha, i just loved the way u did it so i wanted to do it exact in size and maybe combine an idea from an other video
Hi ist this build on your patreon? :D
yes it is
building this will be real stressful
hey, what texture pack do you use?
I used a bushy leaves from vanilla tweaks.
What texture pack are you using?
The only one I am using is the bushy leaf pack by vanilla tweaks!
I wanted to do that but it looks like bigger than my whole base
Is that enchanting table is lvl 30?
Yes
@@MrMattRanger thanks
Jesus loves us
Cool
Is this lvl 30 enchanting table tho?
It is a full level 30 table if you follow exactly where I place them!
Is there a world download?😅😊
Unfortunately not

I’m not sure what you mean.
hmm is that 30 lvl enchanting table ??
Yes
dowloand ?
I don’t have a world download sorry!
My purple and your purple do not look the same and I am at a loss of why
The enchantments give max enchantments ya?
Yes it is a max level 30 enchanting setup if you follow the bookshelf placement!

Yea it’s a lot of blocks but it’s worth it for the fog affect you get around the enchanting table.
