So if we can cover 4-5km an hour (including some motivation or a sick beats to match with our steps and keep us going), and you can time your walk you'll reach the 10km and maybe up to 20. That's an awesome looking hyena. That's one thing I love bout this channel is they cover such a greater diversity of animals, I learn something from every video. NGL I would b terrified to see this animal walking around, especially at night.

A good video idea would be on the Red Wolf, they’re the only remaining other species of wolf besides the gray wolf (the other types of current wolves are subspecies of the gray wolf) and while the red wolf used to be abundant throughout the southeast of the US now there is less than 100 left in the wild and can only be found in North Carolina.
I love hyenas, they're such underappreciated animals much like another favorite of mine, vultures. Both suffer from a major lack of understanding combined with really negative cultural references. This is a great, if not super sad look at an especially unknown species of hyena, thank you!
Ikr, ive come across so many people online who say they want hyenas to all be slaughtered because theyre "disgusting evil vermin that steal and eat baby animals" like wtf 😭. I feel like so many people watched the lion king growing up and then made up there minds there and then that all hyenas were intentionally and maliciously evil creatures, and not just normal animals trying to survive. It really disgusts me, a hyena is just like a cat or dog; a normal animal. I wish they were respected and appreciated more.

I'm amazed by this channels cinematography, and ability to easily tell us events like this. I'm thankful that they have shown me something I otherwise would never have known. Hyaenidae is one of my favorite taxonomic families, and I'm saddened by it, yet happy to see that some people put effort into telling their stories. Thank you.

Not hating them or anything, (I think this is one of my favourite canine now) but why do they need that much intelligence to kill sealpups? He is like 10x faster than them, he has a bite force to easily crush a medium sized rock, and he is killing lone sealpups on the open beach. Yes, when they grow up and there are no sealpups, even killing a slow, clumsy, fat seal is easy. Yes they are dangerous but there are alaways some juveniles. Now compare this to the other hyenas. They need to fight lions and bulls to find food. I think the narrator gives them little too much credit Wow this is long

With humans expanding exponentially i figured only the most basic of wildlife was left but apparently in small pockets of the world you can find relics of the past but it wont be long until their gone. Since a child every animal I ever adored has vanished within a few years with one left which is the cheetah.

well just nature isn't accurate, the seals have no natural defense or instinct to run from hyenas because the seals live on islands before humans started mining the islands about 20-30 years ago the seals didn't have any predator on land but now forced onto the shore of Africa they are screwed.
