Hello Mr Parknotes. My "I need to learn how to think again' video was heavily, heavily inspired by you and your channel. Thank you for inspiring me and many others!
I really appreciate you showed your notebooks and that they are very raw. It feels like everyone's journals on youtube are so clean and refined. Yours are so practical and just there for you. I love it!
If you like raw commonplace books and creative content that makes you think , I recommend you @888_crystal , her channel is so underrated imo and I feel like you'll like her commonplace books
Finally, someone mentioned The Art of Reasoning by David Kelley as the go-to textbook for learning logic. I read many textbooks on logic and this is THE one that explains logical concepts in the most digestible manner.
Love this video! I would love to see a video on notetaking- specifically how much time you dedicate to taking notes, when in the reading process you take notes, how often you should review them etc. Keep up the good work
I took an introductory logic class this past semester and discovered how much I love it. I've been wanting to learn more about logic and philosophy and ever since I found your channel, that has been easy. I love how you included book recs, that will be very useful! Thanks for being such a valuable resource for my journey of learning and for making great videos!
Every so often I kept people claiming my vids are "just book sales" lol so it's always good to hear people appreciate them. If I don't include the book recommendations 1. it's a waste of knowledge I have that can be useful to others and 2. I will get a bunch of comments asking for book recommendations that I'll have to answer one by one which is much more work. Anyways, thank you!
I don't know how I got here dude ,it's currently 5 AM in India but RUclips recommendations do sometimes find you things one's been looking for. Nice vid ,thanks for the book recommendations, and yeah you got a new sub

Hi Parker, I’ve recently started a deep thinking journal (the notebook at 1:33) but I’m having a problem actually thinking about which topics to think about. I want to have these conversations with myself, to understand myself, but I just don’t know where to start. Where do you recommend I should start?
Life according to reason is best and pleasantest since reason more than anything else is man. This life therefore is also the happiest - Nicomachean Ethics book 10 I'm just getting into philosophy but I've exposed myself to scripture writings more, mainly the Bible and I see similarity in 1 John - 1:14 with the quote above even though Aristotle came way before Jesus. Thank you for the book recommendations and I can't wait to learn more 🤔
I’m so pissed I didn’t discover the for dummies books earlier. I used to look at them and laugh. Then I cracked one open on existentialism and it was on POINT

Should I get the second edition or third edition of Harry Gensler's introduction to logic? and what do you think about the book "Logic: a complete introduction" by Dr Siu Fan Lee?
I bet you could find the second cheaper and they rarely make any updates worth the latest edition prices tbh. Idk anything about that second book, sorry

This was excellent. Going to start going down this road in the coming year and your videos have been really motivating.
