I'd love to see that, I have dry skin too. My Revolution Foundation also goes weird with any brand of moisturizers, primer, etc., especially with First Aid Beauty products. It peels off like a sunburn or goes patchy, maybe I need to find another foundation.

Angie Aldrich-Pratt Is that foundation oil based? Bc that would be the best for dry skin :) also a nice hydrating serum and a moisturizer on top will make a lovely difference overnight ❤️
For future reference hyaluronic acid needs to be put on BEFORE moisturizer and other serums as the whole point of it is to pull the moister into your skin. If you put it on after your moisturizer it can actually dry out your skin. (I’m a licensed esthetician not a rando). Love your videos ❤️💜❤️💜
I think you’re meant to put serum on before moisturiser! The moisturiser creates a barrier/locks products in so whatever you put on after it won’t sink into the skin properly. I could be wrong idk🤷🏼♀️😂
Underneath where your going to film get a big rug ( not too expensive) to protect your carpet that you can put in the machine if you do spill make up on it
Oh my god soph please don't use mascaras that are years old 😂 I don't follow the 3 months rule strictly either, sometimes I go for a bit longer, but using expired mascaras can be really dangerous and give you bad infections! With other products (especially powders) you can go for a lot longer than it says on the box without having issues, but the eyes are a very sensitive organ, and mascaras can harbour bacteria quite easily. Basically, for the same reason you shouldn't share mascaras, you should be careful about their expiration date as well. You're lucky you didn't have any problem yet but I would strongly recommend you (and everyone who may read this) to stay safe 💕

Omg I was screaming when u put on the Hyaluronic Acid serum. Ur supposed to put it on damp skin then immediately add moisturizer on top. This way the hyaluronic acid pulls the moisture from the dampness of your skin and the moisturizer. If you put it on dry skin and/or don't add a moisturizer on top, it will pull moisture from within your skin causing your skin to dehydrate which in turn could cause you to overproduce oils
Soph, I think you should consider wearing a bold red lip more often because it looks gorgeous on u! It also makes you loom confident ! I think you should definitely try it out! ☺️☺️
I do my eyebrows after my foundation too, but I run a clean eyebrow brush through them to get rid of a bit of foundation and then it’s easier to do your brows x
The NYX contour shade looks so nice and blended so well when Soph applied it! I'm defo going to try it! I normally use powder but recently been thinking of trying cream.
You could add a bath rug under your filming chair over the carpet so if you drop anything, it has an extra soft place to land and also if it stains the rug, oh well! You can either chuck it in the laundry or if it’s too nasty you can replace it. That way you don’t have to replace a whole room of carpeting 💕
The Loreal serum has got some really awful ingredients in it. The second highest ingredient is alcohol denat- really drying your skin and than silicone. It's not getting any better after that.

hey Sophie, if you want to have carpet floors in your new house but not stain the carpet, i would suggest putting a plastic covering on the floor around your makeup area. That way, while you're filming or just doing your makeup in general, if you drop something, it won't break because of the softness of the carpet and it won't stain because of the plastic covering on top of the carpet.
Before you start to fill in your brows just brush through them quickly with a brow brush/spoolie to remove most of the powder and foundation sitting in there, it always helps me 🥰🥰🥰

The L.A girl palletes are so good from my personal experience. Everyone raves about them as well, but it could have been the foundation and concealer not working well with the shades. I use eyeshadow primer I've never experienced the issues you've had with them so maybe try just using an eyeshadow base/primer or nothing on your lids at all. I hope that helps and I hope they end up working out for you because they are pretty palletes. L.A Girl has some good quality products so hopefully it ends up working out 😉

Hi soph it is recommended that u don't put droppers directly on to your face but to drip some on your hand before application because the oils from your face will transfer to the dropper and sits in the product bottle that may eventually ruin the product faster.

hyaluronic acid does tend to ball up so you aren’t really meant to use it as a makeup base, of course some products are different though xx
