Yes, so sick of one character being a Christian and the other being mad at God. That was one thing I really appreciated about my Melanie Dickerson reread; I'm pretty sure nearly every book of hers (at least the retellings) has both of them being fairly strong believers.
Just read a retellings series on KU! The Redwyn Chronicles by Madisyn Carlin, I think? Though, just so you know going in, the main character so far has not been the one in the actual retelling; Cinderella, Rapunzel, etc. are more side characters. But it was pretty good!
