@tester-ft4ce well punch covered most of it concerning gunfight. Those 2 maps are absolutely terrible for it. They really need to get the team that developed the good mw2019 maps on the job. Because the developers of every game since really haven't got a clue. They've turned gunfight into hide and seek, and they incentivised hiding and rat plays more and more with every iteration. It's ruined, and that's before even mentioning the fixed matchmaking and outcomes.

^^^^* Bo is correct. For anyone a similar headset to mine without having to buy a dac/amp setup, the sennheiser pc38x is a really good option. I also had Astro a40s which worked out well with glasses only reason I stopped using them is when I got my goxlr mixamp to help me control my stream audio, the astros were not compatible so I ended up getting the HD560S
Funny to hear you comment on the viability. I find myself glued to my monitor literally death staring into the sight struggling to see people at any range over 10 meters. Everything looks hazy and blurred. In MW19 any red dot optic looked perfect and you could see enemies super clear anywhere on the map in your line of sight. Also, the ttk at range with AR’s is extremely long imo. Full damage range attachments and it still feels like 7-8 bullets to kill. Idk how I feel about the game so far. Definitely better than mw2/3 but still not better than 19. Everyone in pub matches goes .500 … It feels like their goal was to drastically close the skill gap
I was waiting for Gunfight to release just so I could watch you review the maps and how they play with the new features. I feel like if they want Gala to be a good gunfight map they have to change the layout and structures of it. Because it feels more like a Rat Fight as it is now.

But I believe players should definitely be forced to slow down in S&D because it's such a hassle when players try so hard to turn it into hardpoint or TDM and you're the last man standing to complete the objective while everyone else died gambling rushes for kills as if they'll respawn instantly. This generation doesn't have the concept of stealth or strategy in S&D.
Hey Punch, I was in your Discord a few weeks ago. I decided to leave again. It wasn't because of you, but some people were upset I wasn't hyped for BO6 and this is exactly why I wasn't hyped for BO6. It doesn't matter if they change movement in COD, unless sbmm and packet burst is here to stay, it will feel no different than MW2019 to now. I tried to tell people this is not the OG Treyarch that made their games great. BO4 was the last goated Black Ops game because they had some OG devs left. All the studios are ran by devs who are on positions they do not know what they were doing. MW2019 was lucky to have good Gunfight maps because they had a few devs left who know what they were doing to design maps that fit gunfight. OG Treyarch made variety of map sizes. This is not OG Treyarch like some people in your Discord keeps saying. OG Treyarch was to be hyped about idk who these Treyarch devs are.
Ngl I really enjoyed stakeout cause it made me switch up my usual play style of always rushing I love the narrow pathways and if you take the risk of cutting through mid or scaling the outside of the bedrooms you’re rewarded with a really nice flank route. I really enjoyed gunfight with my boys last night had a ton of fun. I’m super stoked for the full black ops 6 to release.
Stack and king imo r the two best gunfight maps. Doesn’t get much better than those. Was never a fan of the super grassy maps cuz visuals were iffy but these maps making me miss even those lmfao. Even aisle 9 was an Alr map. The biggest problem is the amount of bs to hide behind and Nvr being able to track anyone’s movements unless they’re right next to u. Stack had a literal pillar for cover on each side and that’s it. And the half walls. No way anyone can even try to camp on that map it plays too fast. These rounds are all like 1 1/2- 2 min long almost which is kinda crazy. Just shows how slow ppl r able to play

MW19 had a lot of solid maps and I’m not just talking about gunfight. There were only a few maps I refused to play on that game snd wise and that was usually Piccadilly and azhir cave

I think Cold War gunfight maps in my opinion are better then the one we have in BO6 Pit and Stakeout surely of course worst one ever and gala is depending if it’s good or bad but I was kinda expecting more gunfight maps that we had in CW like season 1 CW we game show, ICBM, KGB, U-Bahan I’m not gonna count Nuketown because it’s more like map that plays for how would you say respawns and grinding camos I guess then of course from season 1-6 of CW we had more gunfight maps that was in it and kinda did the best we had mansion, Diesel, Amsterdam, Showroom and Gluboko and if I wanna say my favorite CW gunfight maps so far would be Game show or Amsterdam but this gunfight maps we have right now it’s just trash and I understand it’s beta phase I wished they just drop it since last night because last night (or Friday I would say) they didn’t drop nothing at all they just had the same modes from week 1 beta expect we had new 6v6 map which was understandable but the lack of adding more content though like SND or Gunfight that should’ve dropped since day 1 and I’m kinda disappointed they dropped it now and be like “oh here you go guys even though this is final day of the beta we want to give you this mode before the full game drops” just cheese way to drop it before this beta ends and we have to stick with MWIII for another month and of course another suffrage we’re gonna deal with but again what a cheese way to drop it

Disclaimer, I am NOT defending the maps in COD at all here. BUT, as bad as the maps are pretty much across the board, the biggest problem with COD in my opinion is the weapons. While the maps do incentivise camping, what further incentivises camping is one shot kill sniper rifles from the opposite end of the map, one shot kill shotguns while crouched in a corner, etc. Almost every match I play anymore consists of spending about 80% of the match searching for people only to get smoked by someone with a shotgun crouched in a bush. Getting back to the maps, I literally do not play MW3 anymore because the maps are so bad. I try to play TDM, oh great we're playing Das Gross for the 70th time today. And for the love of God, when are they going to let shipment and rust die? Shipment is good for absolutely nothing but 1v1s, and rust is good for absolutely nothing at all. Yet they continue to keep them around. Why? They just don't care anymore. Im patiently waiting for the day Rainbow Six makes a roaring return, but ive just about given up on COD at this point. You get on COD and grind for hours only to have to make a micro transaction to actually get what you grinded for. Its literally not even a battle/war game anymore. I mean, medieval swords, turning into a joint when you get killed, finishing move animations that are borderline Mortal Kombat, stoned sloth skins, its just a joke. Anyway, I digress.
It’s not that strong and it’s disabled completely when you get within 3 meters of someone in a gunfight but at the end of the day cod is and always will be made for controller

100% maps are too big and not structured for gunfight. They need to look at mw19 or even Cold War to see what proper maps are

While the maps do incentivise camping, what further incentivises camping is one shot kill sniper rifles from the opposite end of the map, one shot kill shotguns while crouched in a corner, etc. Almost every match I play anymore consists of spending about 80% of the match searching for people only to get smoked by someone with a shotgun crouched in a bush. Getting back to the maps, I literally do not play MW3 anymore because the maps are so bad. I try to play TDM, oh great we're playing Das Gross for the 70th time today. And for the love of God, when are they going to let shipment and rust die? Shipment is good for absolutely nothing but 1v1s, and rust is good for absolutely nothing at all. Yet they continue to keep them around. Why? They just don't care anymore. Im patiently waiting for the day Rainbow Six makes a roaring return, but ive just about given up on COD at this point. You get on COD and grind for hours only to have to make a micro transaction to actually get what you grinded for. Its literally not even a battle/war game anymore. I mean, medieval swords, turning into a joint when you get killed, finishing move animations that are borderline Mortal Kombat, stoned sloth skins, its just a joke. Anyway, I digress.
Yea I mean it’s always the player base being the core problem with the maps as a close second to blame is the way I see it
can you really call these games betas anymore, if it’s the same game everytime?
You know the aim assist is way too strong when you see so many pc players using a controller to take advantage of it
It’s not that strong and it’s disabled completely when you get within 3 meters of someone in a gunfight but at the end of the day cod is and always will be made for controller
