Which is fine, it is possible to love their real friendship more than a frankly poorly written fictional relationship. I love Choni but the writers have wasted so much of their potential, dragged their characters through garbage storylines, and hardly given Toni any characterization other than Cheryl’s supportive gf/sidekick who makes concerned faces and says two lines per episode asking Cheryl if she is okay. And my enthusiasm is slowly dying because of all this, but I can never fully quit them thanks to fanfic, their chemistry, and Madnessa’s real life friendship. 😭
